anyone know the right mah output you need? don't work in the car, don't work off wall adapter, but does work off puter??

I use a 2 amp wall wart. In a pinch I also use my HTC phone charger but that is a 1 amp. It works okay, but I worry about stressing it. Check the amps on yours if it is o.5 amps, then that is definitely no go.

Does anyone know how to crack these apart? I killed mine after about 2 weeks. Picked it up after it fell and on the way up it got caught on something and pulled the cord out the bottom.
