Alright, my question about the Vision Extreme cartos is:
Straight from the packaging, I notice the inner plug that covers the coil cap have the wick holes misaligned...is this intended?
My first one, I apparently burned the wick because it was too dry. So being the analytical guy I am, I took a closer look at what happened and noticed these holes were misaligned. It seems that they all ship that way. I grabbed a new one, and rotated that inner plug so the little notches for the wick, were directly in line with the wick itself. This allowed more juice to flow to the wick. However, with this, it appears that you cannot fill juice above or near the wick holes because when pushing the tip on, the air pressure will force juice down the airtube.
Did I do this right? What would you have done? Should I bother saving that first burned carto or toss it?
Are the capacities of these cartos labeled for total capacity or working capacity? I bought what was shown as 2.5ml, but I can barely get 1.5ml in it.
Please quote my questions in your responses to help me follow who is responding to what. Thanks in advance!!
Hello Nach.
I just went to the drawer and dug out some old visions - got a bunch in various states of togetherness.
I do remember getting one or two where the notches for the wick were misaligned. Like you, I rotated the inner plug into place. Worked well then.
Forgive me, but it's a bit early in the morning here, and I'm having trouble understanding your statement it appears that you cannot fill juice above or near the wick holes because when pushing the tip on, the air pressure will force juice down the airtube.
Now, when I look down the vision tube with the inner plug in place, I see a round air hole down the center, and one longer space each side. The longer space each side is where I would stick the needle to fill. After filling, I would just push the drip tip back in, and all would be well.
As far as the capacity, can you remember which ones you have? There are a bunch of different sizes.
