Hi again. I was vaping my Stardust and it happened again. I just filled it with juice and the battery stopped working. I managed to pull the post up. I know I did it right because I could feel it and see it raise up higher. I could feel a bit of resistance when I put it on the battery. And still, nothing. It's a clean wick too. I just started using it last night. I have been using the actual Stardust for about 5 days or so. So far this has happened with all of the rebuildables I have used..about 3 or so. I want this to work so much! I don't know what I"m doing wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have to leave in a bit but I will return in about 5 hours or so.

And I tried using another ego twist battery and even a KGO battery and it didn't work.

Well damn, so sorry to hear this. I haven't used the rebuildable stardust myself.

My vivi used to do the same thing, however - wouldn't work after a refill. I finally figured out that sometimes the head caught while I was unscrewing the top, loosening the head on the post just enough to not make contact anymore. Might be worth making sure the head is still screwed down tight.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

Thanks so much Morgan. I will give that a try. I kept it this time. There must be something I'm doing wrong or not catching.

Well..I think that might have worked! I'm not getting too excited yet..but it is glowing red yay! It's looking promising..thanks so much!

PS :) Now that I think about it..when I emptied the Stardust and pulled out the metal post I noticed the head stayed at the top..I had to tap it out. OH DUH! I'm such a noob! And non-mechanical noob at that.

One more thing..now I can order more heads/wicks! I was holding off until I knew what I was doing wrong.....I'm sure GotVapes appreciates your help too :) Oh I'm so happy!

Hi....is anyone here that might could help me? I just received the new Vivi Nova from GotVapes and watched the video on the site. The video clearly show the vent hole on the base. My vent hole is on the screw part. Did I get the wrong one? And how can I contact someone there? Do they have a livechat? I don't want to pour juice in it if I have the wrong one.

TIA

You are good....the newest version has the vent hole on the screw connector. The original V1 had the airhole on the base....that's when the video was done.

Thanks for pointing this out. I thought I had a later version VN but it turns out I don't. There are a few differences that are obvious to me after inspecting them. The top cap is different inside, the center post the atomizer sits atop is much higher, and as you said the vent holes are relocated. It also seems a bit lighter in weight. I have two of the old ones that I hardly ever toot on, mainly because they never really impressed me. I'll have to try out this new one and see if it and I can get something going. Next big decision for me is ... which juice to go in.

Whoopee! I'm so relieved 'cos I was out of ideas! And don't feel bad, you're the 4th person I have run into that this has happened to.

Hi all...just filled my first phoenix. Got the bottom coil xl. Sure hope I filled it right...expecially after dumping juice in my lap lol. Time will tell I guess. Question, does it hurt to lay these on thier side. And as I vape there are air bubbles going up in the tube???? I am guessing that is okay as something has to replace the juice...right? It vapes wonderful and I like the flavor. Any tips on these would be appreciated.

I truly love the Phoenix XL BC's. Make sure you fill them upside down. The only issues I have had is laying them down when the juice is so low it exposes a wick. Not all the time but on occasion it would cause a light leak. I assume once a wick got exposed it broke the air lock in the tube. Most time refilling it cures the leak but once or twice after filling I had to keep them upside down for a while to equalize the pressure then they went back to normal. The only other leak issue would be if the syringe fill hole get's poked enough times to lose the seal when the syringe is removed. Leaker for sure. GV sells replacement seals but they are out of stock at the moment on the XL ones. 3ml are in stock.
Can't wait for the Ravens which use the same basic technology but hold more juice in a tank style.

I haven't had any problems with them laying on their sides and I'm always laying my PVs down instead of standing them up. I've got a little box full of filled Phoenixs laying on their sides cause I like to do it all at one time, hate having to stop and reload. And those little bubbles are signs it's working right.:)
Now....... when you get around to cleaning one, come on back and ask away.

thanks wally...I am enjoying the vape. very good flavor and lots of vapor. I have not found anything to use to keep upright. Saw someone was using a toothbrush holder that looked pretty cool so may try to find one that would work. So far so good.

Laying them down is fine. I do it all the time. It's only when the juice is just about to the bottom (below the fat part of the center post) that I had a couple leak after they were laying down. Not all. I have about 12 in rotation and I think only 3 developed a leak. So it does not always happen. And it's not a major leak. Just a light dribbler. I usually top them off before that point.

Thanks...i am really impressed so far. How often do you clean? My juice is 100% vg. I am doing 2 tanks in my vivi and 3 to 4 in my stardusts.

Really depends on the juice. I range from 100% VG to 30% VG I've gone as quick as two tanks all the way to 5 or 6. I have only had one so far that I had to toss. I forgot what I filled it with but the wick and coil were coal black and I could not rinse it out. I just use warm water. Maybe alcohol would have done it but I don't know what affect that would have on the tubing. They are awesome carts. I don't know if they will ever be toppled from my list.
