Well I got my Raven today as did many. Was expecting the worst as I was reading this from the beginning while waiting for my vapemail to arrive. Yes I was disappointed but having read the entire thread and trying some of the suggestions the Raven is a hit and miss right now. Do get some good vapes now and again, using the light puffs into it and have also tried taking VERY deep puffs without hitting button and do in fact have air bubbles traveling to the top. Still getting some really bad dry hits as well. But am getting good as well so I'm not giving up on this or GV or Danno or Chris, know things will work out as these guys always make sure they do for us. THANKS GUYS!!!!. Also tried putting the top seal from a Phoenix BC into the carto, it does take out alot of the airyness when taking a puff, might just be me. Anyway just a note to let you guys(GV) I'm still behind you 100% and will continue to tinker away on the misguided Raven and hope I can find a way to help the one fly right
none of us are going "make it right NOW" take care of those who PM or whine to you in other ways, then work on the records to do credits or what ever to the orders on record, what ever is KISS for you. Thank you [say-say-ne]
Yea Dan make sure you take a little you time; remember that most of your customer base is with you on this and will be very patient and understanding. Every business makes mistakes its how you rectify them that matters. You guys at gotvapes have always been great so just keep up the good work and this will be all behind you soon enough
My first one was working fine until 2nd refill, towards end the coil quit firing, completely dead.
I installed another carto, and now I'm getting what everyone else is experiencing, good hits at first then nasty burnt hits.
This could be really nice device I hope they (chinese) get it figured out.
Dan I know your overwhelmed there, but if your going to refund me, I would prefer GV credit, you now are and always will be the company I buy all my supplies from.

I agree....I am totally fine with GV credit if your software will accommodate that.

I'd settle for just getting 9 working cartos (3 for the units themselves, and 6 spares I bought) once they come in. I don't need a refund or credit.
I'm already on gotvapes looking for more vaping paraphernalia ! more vivi heads, more hush, some new juice to try , maybe try the titan, want to try the hyper srt when it comes back in stock. See something good coming outta a bad situation.
love the mini novas, but the Shorty's are what I'm vaping now, dripping into them like a atty, not ready to toss any yet, and at their price they are toss'able

This is what I'm thinking. I really like the concept. I'm still excited about using this with the right carto.
I vaped a 3.5 ml tank full of juice through the Raven. I started out with a positive attitude and was hoping that maybe we had missed something that the chinese took for granted like holding our lips just right or standing on one leg and spinning in a circle while puffing on the Raven. I have no idea how they vape over there but if this is acceptable to them then they definitely have a different process than I am accustomed to. Tilting my PV up so the wicks are out of the liquid and blowing through it as suggested does seem to help. I am going to try a few tanks before I give my final opinion to allow for a break in period. Danno, In my opinion you have done everything in you power to keep us informed. Much more than many might have. I commend you for that and I hold no Ill will towards you or GV for this snafu. You guys were completely blindsided as were all of us who have purchased these and the fault lies with neither. Take care of yourself, Easy does it and Keep on truckin.
Like the others... GV credit or coupon code etc is fine for me as well... whatever works best/easiest for you... having said that and knowing you recorded it late last night/this morning....
You mentioned they were going to send a couple of updated samples... I'm also not apposed to those if they resolve the issues being reported... in fact I'd prefer that since I've been looking for just what these promise ( a bc carto for a tank )
I for one, unless you wish otherwise... will wait to make a ticket and/or PM you... you certainly have enough on your plate than to have to immediately deal with a flood of tickets ATM...
Besides that... I've got a new sample of Rampage to try out in some of those cool little shorty carto's... a new smokey tube for my Hyper SRT... a replacement tube for the Mini VN to replace the one I boogered up... Not to mention revisiting the Phoenix XL's that I got when they first came out ( got a couple of things to try on those now )
