I agree. The VV 3.0 is a great little device. I too have dropped mine or knocked it off my desk a million times and it's still going strong. It's great for on the go and I bring it with me everywhere!

I have noticed it keeps shutting off on me. I take too long of drags I guess and activate the shut off.

Ok my fellow social gourmet juicers, I need your help! I'm loving my new mini protank 3's, but now I got to point where I need to clean out tanks and prep coils for new flavor. I'm fine with the whole tank cleaning bit, same as pt2. Where I'm having trouble is the coil maintenance. I am used to single coil maintenance and dry burning. But these new mini pt3's take a new dual coil. The top coil is exposed but there are a couple wicks sandwhiched Inbetween the top and bottom coil. I'm afraid if I leave wicks in and dry burn I'll ruin the wicks or burn them. If I take them out, like I would on a single coil, you can't get them back in. Anyone have experience with these ?

I sure hope you got an answer, because I keep wondering the same thing. I've kept all my old dual coils, but don't know what to do with them! (I'm always way behind on this thread, so I'm just getting to last night's posts).

Ditto and ditto! I love my itaste for grab and go! And I've dropped it a million times LOL. I can't believe it's not broken yet. It does have a ding. But for like 25 bucks can't beat it.

I already have one and I have dropped it a million times too. Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin that one

Mine has done this when overheated too. I typically run about 1.8 ohm coils. Is it possible your ohms are too high and wattage too low. Do you use it in voltage or wattage?

It wasn't just a "bad tummy" night for me either. I've had three sessions with the 5P samples now. All three times were the same "sick to my stomach and slight headache" experience for me. Different juices each session too. So, It's not likely the flavoring. I'm assuming that it is something in their base formula.

Really bums me out. I love to try new and different things and they definitely have a lineup that I haven't even come close to from any other vendor so far.
How long did you vape each time before you felt these symptoms? Do you recall approximately?

I keep a good mint around all the time for this. I'm vaping it now! This one is Fuzions short run Shammy Shakes. It's good

I've noticed the same thing seems to work for me! Another reason vanilla mint from FSV is at or near the top of my list! When nothing else shines, vanilla mint always seems to come through for me!

I already got my REO. :)

I still like having variety but I keep hearing the gennies are a pain. The looks are the only thing drawing me to consider trying one. That Kracken would be gorgeous on my Caravela.

it would, the Kracken is so nice looking, I love octopi ;)

on a related note, here's a new juice company Whit E. Octopus Vapors - Flavors Profile Categories

I've got a brass Kraken clone that should be here tomorrow. I can't wait to see it, but Jonathan has been giving me advice by PM, and I'm thinking I need to do some regular coils before I try it. I also need to get more mesh and stuff before I will be able to use it.

I was going to get a KFL clone, but every place I go to order from doesn't have the one I want. I want the KFL 3.1 rev.2. I've heard that one is the best. (I don't really want to order from Slowtech, it would take way too long to get here).

I think most already know, but I'm in this camp as well. In fact, I have my last tank of Gentlemen's reserve loaded (from what was left that didn't spill in my backpack) and when it's gone later today I'll have the Steam Co completely out of my house and collection. I will not be reordering.

I've only had two things there and I love Gentleman's, but after not getting much flavor at all out of Blue lagoon I'm afraid to try anything else (except maybe the new unreleased reserve one)

Ewww I don't know why but I hate jelly beans. I just don't like the texture/flavor.

I hate that gummy texture too

So nobody with a good idea for a cheap summer friendly device?

I was thinking about that too, something small that still has a long lasting battery and enough power. I don't know what fits the bill though other than a mini REO

I've been thinking of trying to supplement with unflavored. Does it really just taste like nothing? My diy sucks so I get frustrated. Probably because I've been trying to do fruits knowing full well I haven't had a lot of luck with premade fruits to begin with

Once in a while I vape unflavored WTA from wholecig, it can be oddly satisfying

I ordered:
Catherine the Grape
White Beard tobacco
Peach Tea
Vanilla Custard
Monkey Business - requested sample

White beard and vanilla custard had a little more flavor than the other 3. Peach tea and grape both tasted like wet socks. I received order 3/3, so it's now been six weeks. Will give them one more fair shot before I write them off.

My only order there was peach tea (very little flavor), wild cherries (nice flavor but too mild), custard (nice enough but nothing special), and they sent a sample of white beard-which was flavorful but it has a certain type of tobacco flavor that I've tasted in other juice, like GLV's bangkok dangerous and a local tobacco that i had, and i wish i knew how to classify it but it's a type of flavor that i just don't like...

My DIY sucks too and I can't figure out if it is the ingredients I'm using or if my blending techniques are bad or what. My flavor to base ratio is high. I let them steep for a couple weeks. And mostly I just don't taste anything. I'm using 100% VG and low nic - like 3-4 mg and I'm mixing in wee 10 ml bottles. I'd love to mostly DIY to try to recreate my favorite blends but I don't know what is the "good" DIY source since I can't taste the flavors straight out of the bottle I don't know what I'm getting until later and then wonder was it me? or was it the ingredient? both?

i failed miserably at diiy.
now when it comes to sayi cinnamon red hot, cinnamon daniash, apple pie.. those turned out ok.
but there is no depth to miy fruits and the candies tasted wierd i don't know i gave up.

i have some bottles sitting here i made, 12 30ml bottles and i'm thinkin gof just trashing them all ;(

maybe if you tweak your recipe with some flavor enhancers http://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/1rwsd4/notes_additives_flavor_enhancers/

Most of your Max VG drip lines, ie; Vape Game, run 75 - 85% VG, and still have 15-25% PG, which is usually coming from the flavor concentrate. These lines usually use VG nicotine base also though. So the majority of the PG is coming only from the flavor concentrate.
I avoid PG because I don't like the throat hit, but I could add some and still be OK. I mean, a lot of the off the shelf brands I buy have PG so I guess I could add it as long as I keep the ratio low. And I guess I could also use an education. I haven't spent time on the DIY threads mostly because I'm afraid to spend more money, but maybe it'd help me make better use of what I already have. Thanks!

Love a SS cable set up on my Kraken. Mesh wrapper at the top of the cable, deck floor to top of cable, and wrap the coil around both the SS mesh and cable. You can do a dual SS cable build for a < .5Ohm build, and wicks really nicely :)
