Question for the . I asked for a sample that is an available one. If I didn't specify ratio and nic will they not send it?

Are you talking about Ahlusion? They might match it to your other juices. I've never not included that information, so I'm not sure.

I sure hope you got an answer, because I keep wondering the same thing. I've kept all my old dual coils, but don't know what to do with them! (I'm always way behind on this thread, so I'm just getting to last night's posts).
Right now the answer I'm going with is don't dry burn, soak in vodka for 24 hours and let dry for another 24. I'm going to try this as well as do more research if I ever find the time :). If you run across anything let me know and I'll do the same.

Any recommendations for deejstuff?Their tax day sale was extended.

Honestly, although their flavors were interesting I didn't find them to be remarkable. Their Lemon Meringue was pretty good, but there are better lemons out there. All in all, although their customer service was great, juice wise they aren't a vendor I think I would buy from again.

Maybe email them with your order number and clear up the pg/vg and nic level?

The vodka soak, rinse and dry is the one I hear the most people using. And, for the record, most people use Everclear which must be the cheapest and highest proof, I guess. I have also heard many times to use UNFLAVORED/NON MNT denture tablets for cleaning tanks, coils, wicks. GOTTA BE UNFLAVORED tho, and the cheaper the better. Most drug/grocery stores sell denture tablets with their own brand name and they are all pretty generic. I use the denture tabs because I don't drink alcohol and keep forgetting to stop in a liquor store to get some! I am definitely no expert, but so far have not had any problems with rinsing everything off as well as possible, then dropping it all into super hot water, adding a denture tab and soaking a few hours, then rinsing and drying overnight. If you have some really strong flavors, soak that equipment separately from everything else in it's own denture cleaner bath to avoid any cross over. (I've got a little OCD about this stuff so I do two denture tab soaks after rinsing in between.) You can get 40 cheap UNFLAVORED/NON MINT denture tabs for under $2.00. I haven't cracked any tanks this way and mine are all plastic. The wicks come out nice and white, too. Those bubbly denture tabs get right in the nooks and crannies and clean out the mouthpieces really well, that's the part that bugs me the most if I think they are dirty. Probably TMI. Maybe that's an idea you haven't heard of or tried and it might help.

I hope this isn't a dumb question: would rubbing alcohol also work or does it have to be the 'meant for internal consumption' kind of alcohol such as vodka?

Just for you Brett! ;) LOL.

No actually I think like the 90% iso is best because it's more actual alcohol than vodka :) Man I could go for some vodka after today...

Time to rummage through my juice. I need something different.

Somewhere in my memory, I have it that you are NOT supposed to use rubbing alcohol on parts but I don't remember the exact reason or what reaction if you do. PGA ONLY. Someone here will correct if I am wrong.

I DO use rubbing alcohol on battery posts, threads, and charger connections before every charge and wipe my batteries down with alcohol wipes at least once a day. (TOLD YA -- OCD.)

My recommendation would be to find another vendor. I ordered bout ten different flavors and the only one that was good was desert ship, very similar to nostalgia by clever. The rest were just meh for me

My DIY sucks too and I can't figure out if it is the ingredients I'm using or if my blending techniques are bad or what. My flavor to base ratio is high. I let them steep for a couple weeks. And mostly I just don't taste anything. I'm using 100% VG and low nic - like 3-4 mg and I'm mixing in wee 10 ml bottles. I'd love to mostly DIY to try to recreate my favorite blends but I don't know what is the "good" DIY source since I can't taste the flavors straight out of the bottle I don't know what I'm getting until later and then wonder was it me? or was it the ingredient? both?
If you use too much flavoring, it can actually decrease the flavor. Also, with high VG it takes longer to steep and you have to mix it with something to thin it out a little. (distilled water, alcohol... something) VG by itself is not a good flavor carrier. In fact, I have had little to no luck with anything higher than 80% VG period
