dripping is a pain in the .... not gonna lie about that. unfortunately, when you chase flavor like some of us, you kind of get spoiled

like, I haven't used my taifun in over a week because these KoC juices just taste so much better out of the Magma rda. I'm reduced to taking a bottle of juice with me now, which stinks.

now, if I could get a magma that was bottom-fed, with a regulated REO with a DNA30 chip in it, I'd be all over that

I "get it"... It just doesn't work for me. Mainly because I haven't yet found a filler/wicking material that's perfect for what I need it for. Cotton was the closest thing. Still trying to work with it.

well, you would know more than anyone else...

if your resistance is constant, sure. you could dial in your desired taste through trial and error

what I'm saying is, if you found your wattage, it wouldn't matter what the resistance is. guess work eliminated. you could be handed a random tank with a random juice and you'd already be at your desired vape setting
I understand what the wattage setting does. I had it on my SVD... Tried it and didn't like it. My juices all have different "heat" that they shine on... so it would still be irrelevant. I have my ways and I'm set on them. They work for me. Pushing a button every now and then doesn't bother me. I like to play with the screen.

I pretty much always vape at one of the three following resistances: 1.1 (dual coils), 1.8, and 2.2. For 1.8 and 2.2 it is either Sophia or ProTanks. The coils tend to vary a bit based on my build, but I dial the Provari voltage in based on that resistance and whatever the juice "likes," or more specifically: what I like based on the juice. I know if I build Sophia at around 1.8 with a single coil and put in a cakey or creamy liquid that anything over 4 volts is going to be too hot for that coil and liquid. A fruit blend or a tobacco (my new favorite kind of liquid) can usually go a little higher- say 4.2 volts with the same coil.

I'm happy with that. To be fair - I haven't tried any other VV devices or VW devices.

Like I said, I have 3 provari and I'm aware of the drill. I'm just attempting to explain why vw is better especially when having a discussion with other capers. Its much easier to gauge someone's vaping habits that way.

Rin, I'm not telling how you shouldn't enjoy your provari. I'm merely saying it makes sense for provape to update their chip to accommodate more vapers.

Maybe there's a reason they don't update it? If I wanted a VW wattage device, I would have bought one. I think Provari users know what they're getting into before the purchase it, is all I'm saying.
That's like saying REOs should get rid of or update the "squonking" feature because some people can't seem to get it right. The bottom feeding is what makes a REO a REO, right? Sure, there could be improvements... but those improvements can detract from other areas that are good.
I just would think that if VW was a viable option for them, they would have done it by now. There's been speculating about the Version 3's both ways. (saying they're adding VW, etc) But I think it's wishful thinking. I have yet to see anything concrete either way.
Anyway.... sooooo... How's the weather?

what is the difference you get between Smooth and Just Criminal?
I do want to try Just Criminal now that I know how much I like Smooth.
I mixed Smooth Criminal with some Legend from HHV. That is a nice combo.
I thought I was through with tobacco flavor but obviously not. lol

Ahh yes SC..that's the juice that sold me on AHL..You should try Just Criminal..I think that one is a little better. :p

Someone told me Rob would send a stock Reomizer topper if you need one. I'm sure he will. Idk still hemming and hawing about getting one.

I would have to send mine in to have it drilled in the right place. I've considered it. Maybe when I have more time to get to the post office. Right now, it's a real hassle.

That is exactly where it went
Thanks

It probably goes along the top part of the glass where it fits into the metal. That o-ring is known in all the protanks to kind of stick to the glass, but if you're a good lil camper and wash your stuff it eventually falls off. Check that spot and let me know if that's the place where it fits.

I've got all my mods named after friends here. The Embossed Gold Plated King is "Darcy", the SS 'Vela is "Kayte", the Chromed Brass King is "Kat", the Brass King is "Choochoo", and the Natural is "Dale". I had a Nemmy SS but she went deep six fishing that one I had named "Robin". I need another one to name Robin now..lol :p

And I really don't care to do all that calculating. I have a 2.2 Protank on right now and its great at 4.2 volts. That's all I know. I adjust accordingly. I'm not saying that your logic isn't there but I do what works FOR ME. Really getting tired of people trying to tell me what I'll like or should like. Gets old.

I agree with you and if I have ever been the one coming across that way, I am really sorry. I'm glad you love your Provari. Mine is special to me, it got me off cigarettes when the ego didn't :)

That's not a very good analogy tbh. Provape changing to VW is just a more precise way of skinning a cat. It would be more accurate to say there is a more efficient way to bottom feed an RDA, then telling REO to update his schematics, provided the technology exists.

Vw on your SVD isnt any different than putting it in VV mode. You're obviously more accustomed to setting your attys in vv mode. This doesn't make it less accurate by any means

Awww...I get the embossed King...I love that one! :D

I can't believe you sent Robin down to the deep like that though...shame on you! Haha! Well that gives you an excuse to buy another one now doesn't it? :p

Not you... Just many people in general. I respect that people like things that I don't. It's just not always reciprocated.

angel Cigs has a nice ask* black Neme clone... Looks so sharp but I don't even use the Neme I have. I think I'll pop on that Taifun clone, come to think of it. Redid the coil last night. Seemed to be working well... Went to bed shortly thereafter.
Oh... BTW... Juice flavoring + open cut = a LOT of pain!!!

I totally get where you're coming from. To each their own I say. As long as what you have works for you and you're happy with it, then who cares. I love my reo, but I still love my mvp too and use them both all day. I love seeing what others use and I like all the variety out there. I think it makes it more interesting. If we all liked the same thing, it would be very boring indeed!

Yeah. There are juices and setups that work for me that don't work for the next person. My journey is a combination of my abilities, the amount of effort I care to exert and my budget
