So when you rebuild a pro-tank head with Koh Do Gen how often do you change the cotton. Just when you change flavors? How long is the wick good for? Same thing with Taifun. I change the cotton every couple of days when I change flavors but my wick has held up good. How long will it stay good?

I don't use the Koh Gen Do but I do sometimes use cotton in a pinch with thick liquids that bamboo can't work with - like 15 Ft Falls and some of the custards. I change my wick every 6-7 mls just because after a while I can taste the buildup. The wick still works but when the flavor starts to fail I rinse the coil head, pull out the cotton, soak the coil head in vodka, rinse in water, then dry burn and rewick. I have a ton of kangers so I go through a dozen or so for recoils. I might save up 20 for simple rewicks.

TLDR; change the wick when you feel like it needs a changin'. I don't think there is a best practice here other than to follow the flavor.

I loved burley and candy so just today I ordered Candied Cavendish I'm excited to get it. I order a few others also :D I really like angel sauce too. Can't believe it took me this long to try tobaccos and I love them. Just crazy :what:

Candied Cavendish was totally different for me than Burley and Candy. It's a much more robust and richer tobacco. I liked it, but I don't think I could do it all day long.

I never thought to compare my Fasttech PT coils to the ones I got from American vendors. They worked fine for me.
I only ordered them once though- a 5 pk. So I guess those 5 compared to all the ones I have ordered from this side of the pond isn't a great comparison. I haven't had bad luck with what I've ordered from Fasttech. Other than my first order taking a month to get to me.
If you pay for the shipping it expedites the order.

Yes and they are crap. The ones I got from there, the stems aren't long like the legit ones so it causes flooding/leaking issues... Not to mention flooding/gurgling. It's no good. It's also very obvious how poor the quality is. The little rubber grommit that goes around the pin is garbage and burns so easily. It's just not worth it IMO... And I have both to compare them. (Kanger legit ones and the Fast Tech ones.. .they are worlds apart)

My Protank 3 became a protank 2 once I installed the Aero thing. That would mean Aero coils are the same as Protank 2 coils.

MMMM no. Unless I'm misunderstanding you which is totally possible. Do you mean the airflow base? I use that airflow base with PT2 and PT3's. I use the dual coils with PT3s and Aerotank Mega. If I put a single coil in there it will fire but it ends up gurgling and leaking before I finish the full tank. I think it is because the assembly in the PT3 has more space for the dual coils so when I put a single coil on there is a bit of space that gets liquid into the tube.

I really like those new dual coils - the ones with the non exposed wick. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to rebuild them so they are costing me a lot more overall compared to the single coils. Taste is worth it tho.

Are you liking the airflow base? I like it a lot. I won't even touch the old PT bases.

Ok I am totally confused. I am using a Air flow adjuster on my protank 3 which then makes it possible to use pro tank 2 coils-I thought? That is what I bought and what I am using

I love the airflow base and getting it shed a whole new light on my protank and the use it was getting. But now I am totally confused about the coils. I also bought some coils for some evods and now I do not know which is which

Rofl.... epic fail;)

Sorry, Lav

Thanks buddy. See if I look out for you again lol......kidding of course and besides look at them I missed them because they are itty bitty sample bottles
(completely lying if I had seen them I would have grabbed the bottle of Radio and ran home!)

The airflow base is the ONLY reason I continued using protanks. the evod coils typically have the shorter chimney if they have the long chimney they are the same as the ones for protanks. They made the all to use the same coil a few months before the new wave of dual coil started i.e. pt3 etc. You can use the longer ones in the evods but the short ones don't work well in the Protanks imo.

Vaping the other new Hurricane 'Peaches and Irish Cream" not as good as Apricot Horchata

That sounds like an interesting combo. I tried to recreate a mix of 4 NETs that was REALLY good but failed so trying to finish it off. Also broke out the now week old Virus to see how its tasting.....better but needs more time in the steeple. Will try again next week. Also tried to vape some April Moon today and that's when I knew something was up with my taste buds. It was my first vape love and I dripped it twice and put it away. Didn't want it.
At work (ick) and cleaning up my kayfun and drippers. I was supposed to do some flavor testing this weekend w/Devils but it didn't work out. We did however make it out for a nice evening Friday with 2 of our favorite couples and today he took the boys out to putt putt while I watched Orange is the New Black well tried to I was to tired I mostly sat around in a vegetative state lol. Holding my eyes open with toothpicks now!
