For me, when mixing by weight, VG is the easiest ingredient to over pour. I add it first so that when I add too much I can easily transfer it back into the source bottle or the next mix. Couldn't do that if it already had the nic in it.

VG first, nic second, then PG and flavors.

I do Nic, PG, VG, then flavorings. It's all shaken up once you finish. I don't think that order makes a lot of difference. VG is thicker than PG, so having VG on top of PG probably allows gravity to infiltrate the thicker ingredient into the thinner ingredient somewhat, but it's shaking, stirring, or mixing with something like a magnetic mixer that completes the process.

I don't have a mixer, so I shake all my bottles for about 30 seconds each a two or three times a day and try them periodically to determine how well steeping is improving the mix. I'm finding that my Hangsen flavors steep faster than my Flavorart flavors, but all get better with time.

My Flavourart Desert Ship took two weeks to get to a stable level that I wanted to vape. Now, it's good. It was nasty on day 2. Flavourart DS is good now after two weeks. The FA 7 Leaves was good the next day and better later on. Go figure.

Hangsen Desert Ship, tobacco, and Highway were vapable on day 2 with no off taste, but a little weak on flavor. They steeped into really good flavor after a week. I started off with the Hangsens at 7% flavor and took them up to 10% after the first week. A few more days and they should be where I want them.

I mix 70pg/30vg so PG is my greater volume. I use a dropper for Nic and a large syringe without a needle for PG and VG.

I do a 50/50 mix with VG being the greater volume. Also, I pour both VG and PG straight from their bottles. Cuts down on cleanup. VG is just so thick, it is sometimes hard to judge when to stop that first pour!

I mix straight into 60ml Boston Round glass dropper top bottles. They have a small top opening, but it's easy to use the large syringe without a needle for PG and VG and the dropper from the bottle for the Nic. I just drop a little and wait. When the scale settles I do it again.

Sometimes, I go a tad over, but it's a 60ml mix, so a few mg doesn't make much of a difference except in Nic level. If I get 3.3mg nic level instead of 3.0mg it's not a big deal for me. I'm usually really close, but sometimes the twitch factor overrides the accuracy. :)

How do you get the syringe down in the bottle of PG and VG? When the bottle is a little over half, my syringe without a needle won't reach it.

I tried that but the bevel of the inside of the bottle prevents me from getting it. Maybe I need to go away from the MFS VG and PG

You can always pour some into a beaker, or even a glass, draw up what you need, return any leftover to the bottle.

I do the Essential Depot PG/VG from Amazon. Just top off your smaller bottle with the large container when the smaller bottle gets low.

The liter of MyFreedomSmokes Nic as well as the Essential Depot PG and VG I'm working from right now have huge caps with large holes that fit the 30ml syringe easily. I'm going to have to break it down into smaller bottles soon and freeze all but the one I'm working from.

I'll have to find some 120ml/240ml bottles with large caps to keep using the 30ml syringe.

ETA: I just realized you were talking about the height of the bottle when it's half empty or less. A long pipette would be my next tool if tilting does work. My nic is 75pg, so it's not that thick.

between here and there
Depending on the bottle size I am mixing determines whether or not I mix all ingredients on the scale. If mixing a 250ml bottle recipe, I add an extra step by mixing the pg/vg together that the recipe calls for in a separate container using the plugged up syringe(as suggested above) and stir it up so that it is well blended using glass stirring rods.
Then on the scale I measure the flavors directly in the bottle along with the nic and then slowly add the vg/pg mixing as I go.

Check Amazon for Essential Depot PG and VG. The 1 liter bottles fit 30ml syringes. Use the syringe without the needle for PG and VG.

I use the disposable pipettes for all additions when pouring isn't feasible.
Sometimes I do exceed my required amounts by minuscule amounts.

I tried the pipettes. They were good for PG, but really slow and clumsy with VG. Mine are disposable, so they may not have enough strength in the plastic to suck up VG.

What order of mixing by weight of Nicotine, PG, and VG; do you prefer? (Flavor last)
Such as, I currently mix in the following order: Nicotine, VG, then PG.
Is there any benefit you may note in the order you mix?
Nic last, if you tip the bottle over before nic/interruptions and forgetting where you are, not a big deal.
