Only reference I could find on e-cigs through GSA search

The U.S. Navy has announced that smoking will no longer be permitted below decks on its submarines, effective December 31, 2010. The policy was initiated to protect the health of nonsmoking sailors. The Navy offers smoking cessation programs and nicotine replacement therapy will be widely available on the submarines. Prescription drugs will be off-limits due to the potential to modify behavior patterns. Electronic cigarettes are not authorized.
The Air Force Surgeon General, Lt. Gen. (Dr.) Charles B. Green, has issued a memo alerting all Airmen about safety concerns regarding electronic cigarettes. The memo states that due to the nature, appearance and safety concerns of electronic cigarettes, they are considered to be in the same category as tobacco products, the use of which is governed by Air Force Instruction 40-102, tobacco Use in the Air Force. This product will be included in the upcoming revision of AFI 40-102 due out late 2010.

And how can a state deem e-cigs are Tobacco products? Even the FDA is on to other issues.(Menthol in cigarettes)

I heard the FDA going to get a hold of all this e cigs, vaping stuff in October who knows what they will pass or end up coming up with.
I can see no smoking within 20 feet and I guess if you have the e cigs they look like your smoking if you do not pay attention that there is no cloud of smoke coming from the end of the cig. and big one no smell. so far the Vapor steam from anyone has not bothered me.

But I live in a blue state that loves to tell us what we can do with our lives.

Blue states don't have the exclusive monopoly on this kind of thing. I was told not to vape underneath a canopy at my university (UTX system) because, "the smoke might set the canopy on fire."

I work in a government office that shall remain nameless. I got an email this morning from a GSA building manager that states electronic cigarettes are treated like tobacco products and their use is not allowed inside federal buildings or within 20 feet of an entrance. He also claimed that the FDA has determined that electronic cigarettes contain cancer-causing nitrosamines and diethylene glycol.

Sent from my easy chair using brainwaves.

Don't mess with the Government..they have Revok..

So straight up stealth but do it out in the open. When you ghost hit it and absolutely no vapor comes out, ask them what right they have to tell you what you can and can not put to your lips...

Now young man independent thinking is against the law......
Stealt baby stealth if nothing comes out no offense.

And the person that actually said this was smart enough to remember to breathe?
