You have to rewrap batteries? Why? I haven't rewrapped a battery in my 10+ years of vaping. Am I doing it wrong?

I've only had one wrap rip. I have plenty of re-wrap supplies but haven't needed to use them much at all.

Seriously now. I always use my external chargers. I use Nitecore and Xtar chargers. I"m very careful with my batteries, but I don't baby them. I store them in their plastic protective boxes. I just examined my current batteries--chocolate LGs, Sonys and Samsungs (all Mooch-recommended)--intact. Never had a torn or otherwise damaged wrap. I wonder if there are some chargers out there that damage wraps more than others? Am I just lucky?
I've never had a damaged wrap either.

I've never had to re-wrap a battery; I guess it's because I'm pretty careful with them.

my first attempt at rewrapping was a disaster, I over wrapped thinking double protection would be better. A definite no no.
Depends on the mod. My most used mods have plenty of clearance around the battery so I over-wrap brand-new batteries with clear wraps after marking them.

Other mods I have, nope! They won't fit even with a bit of packing tape over my markings. This means my markings (with a Sharpie pen) inevitably disappear after a while.

Some mods that are tight fits will damage them. I have never rewrapped in over 10 years but a couple got nicked in new dual mods. I will need to wrap those eventually.

Interesting tidbit. I don't own any duals, but some of my mods do require a bit of finesse while inserting and removing the battery.
