IMR batteries has insulators - 18650 Wraps/Insulators | IMRBatteries.com

I forget where I saw this idea but if you have a labeler...

I lost track of labeling at tripe z’s 1 and 2. I totally need a new system. It worked well for when I only had 26 “sets” then the single batteries worked for awhile but now I need organization help. Or I have too many batteries to go along with my too many mods.

suggestions or ideas are always welcome!!

Hmmm.... are the insulators up for grabs? And you go, @Fidola13 just don't blow you up.

My battery case may be even bigger than yours I think EXCEPT you have insulators.

Anna

They’re really cheap and rather ugly but if you want some I’ll send you some. That’s if I can find them lol!

You have to rewrap batteries? Why? I haven't rewrapped a battery in my 10+ years of vaping. Am I doing it wrong?

Wrapping a Battery is a Rite of Passage for an e-Cigarette user. Kinda like Winding a Coil for the 1st Time. Or Replacing the Glass in an RTA/Tank.

And an Essential Milestone of Ascension along the path to the Zen of Vaping.

I must admit I try EXTRA hard to gently place the batteries in the bay especially depending on the charger and/or battery.

As do I, but you seem to be more successful at it. I think I just lack skill when it comes to gentleness and prudence. I wonder if it's related to my tendency to walk into door frames?

I'm with Katya. In 7+ years of vaping I've never rewrapped a battery. Am I missing something??

I dunno, do you mostly just recharge your batts in the mod or do you use external charger? If you recharge in the mod then there would be hardly any reason the wraps would become worn or ripped.

I find that the wraps I have bought off FT are much more durable than OEM wraps, especially samsung. In fact, Samsungs are so cheap that I don't waste any time and just rewrap them as soon as I put a new Samsung in rotation. They seem to rip very easily. Rewrap brands like Hohm, Efest, etc, use much stronger wraps and I have only rewrapped a rewrap once in my vaping career.

Seriously now. I always use my external chargers. I use Nitecore and Xtar chargers. I"m very careful with my batteries, but I don't baby them. I store them in their plastic protective boxes. I just examined my current batteries--chocolate LGs, Sonys and Samsungs (all Mooch-recommended)--intact. Never had a torn or otherwise damaged wrap. I wonder if there are some chargers out there that damage wraps more than others? Am I just lucky?

You can NEVER have too many batteries or mods.

My chargers are Nitecore, Xtar and Effest. I have lots of different makes of batteries and have to say my LG yellow ones are the main culprits.
I will open up to being a bit ham fisted or heavy handed at times so maybe it's my fault. Sometimes I insert and remove my batteties one handed which probably doesnt help. I will try to be more careful in future.
One thing worth mentioning tho.......my first attempt at rewrapping was a disaster, I over wrapped thinking double protection would be better. A definite no no. That made the battery too thick to slide in some mods. Always remove the original wrap first.

No, I think some people are not as gentle as others. I'm careful removing the batteries from the charger, but seeing my son do it was a shocker, I was convinced he destroyed the battery in one go...

We don't all have the same level of finesse with chargers... plus some of the cheaper mods might eat battery wraps... I've heard of it anyway.
