FJ, what gauge wire is that you are using? I think you resistance is very low. That thick wire and only 5 wraps will give you lots of heat. I dont think your wicking can keep up

i took off two of the coils and now only left with 1...what ohm do you guys aim for? Unfortunately i dont have the ohm reader to check this hybrid so everything is just a trial and error for me, but knowing what ohm is good for just 1 coil, 2 coil, 3 coil, will help me out a bit as I can kind of feel for it as I've done many builds

Fj... put it down... go to a shop that will have an ohm reader.. get your build ready with vaper's toolbox or something... check at shop to confirm. I'm sure you would've discovered by now if the atomizer is shorted.. but be safe... don't want to be a safety Nazi, but just reminding that you have a potential IED in your hands/by your face.

How many wraps, plus size of gauge and coils please

FJ this build came to about 0.4ohms
it is 8 wraps of 30 gauge per coil.

I really suggest you get a proper ohm meter and check your builds... just "winging it" does not excuse ones self.
don't be that guy....

If you only have the little ohm meter box. make a single coil on a different atty, and test...
Now you have the resistance of the single coil... divide by 3 and then you have your Estia setup.
At the very least do this, so that we dont read about you in the paper....
