After trolling the subforum, I have a few quick questions for my new Reo.

1. How do you guys alter the color of your RM2? Or does he sell different colors occasionally?

2. Does anyone sell the crafty doors they make from random materials?

3. Where do you buy your metal drip tips?

4. Should I drill another 1/16 on the other side? I noticed some people do. I'm used to a very airy hit. My RSST is drilled with a 1/8th. Also, presumably this would allow for simpler dual coil builds. I used to use an IGO-W.

I'll check this thread in the morning. Thanks in advance, all!

The only 2 color changes to the RM2 I'm aware of are brass, which is achieved by removing the silver plating (VERY carefully). Or you can special order one that way from Robert for a few extra bucks.

The other is to gently remove the plating, then apply heat resistant paint (as in, for a BBQ grill), and bake in an oven for a couple hours. There are threads on both methods, but I don't have a link to them.

AFAIK, no one but Robert sells doors. Someone else, who knows, will comment on the metal drip tips and air intake aperture(s).

Hacking is illegal & I won't talk about it publically. And I don't hack anyway. (<- that's for the FBI, CIA, & NSA in case they are still watching me.)

pdib has been making some awesome doors lately but they aren't for sale.

For RM2s many people go bare brass, some have painted, Rob has PC'd but doesn't offer it, I have done....

Just have to get creative & put in some work if you want something other than what's currently available, as others have. :)

5/64 is a cloud machine with a low ohm coil but you'd better be taking huge lung hits, even 1/16 was too big for my liking so I went with #53 drill bit. I've ordered one of the regular triangle RBA to get an undrilled cover. that way I can get my third RM2 back to a #53 since the 5/64 was too big.

Triangle Stainless Steel Rebuildable Atomizer

On sale for 9.99

5/16? Do you want to put your arm through it? I hope you meant 5/64. I've seen a few go to a 5/64. Just do as I said and move up little by little until you find your own sweet spot.

Haha, edited. I'm just wondering if keeping the hole on one side would be safer then two smaller holes on either side. I liked my IGO-W and my RSST, IGO-W had 1/8" on both sides and RSST 1/8" on one side. Based on this information, what would you recommend?

Are you going to be running dual coil?

If not I don't really see the need?

It's very subjective to each user, so also very hard to give you a definitive answer. You're going to have play with it to find Your sweet spot. Start small and go up. Or just order a undrilled top from Rob or the site I posted and then have a top with one hole and another with two.

Your quest for the perfect vap has now changed from chasing different mods to what is the perfect coil, wick, air hole combination.

You, sir, are wise beyond your years. Thank you. I know what I like... It seems I must go from there.
