What happened? The little candle demonstration???

If you dry burn your wick/coil, as the eliquid vaporizes away and you keep applying the heat ... well the eliquid will ignite. The goal is to keep it wet when vaping. The little candle demo, will happen if you are trying to dry burn sometimes. To prevent it. Nice short dry burns so it does not get to that temp when eliquid is present, until it vaporizes all of it away. Then you can dry burn IF you must. Personally I don't do this except for initial setup, and maybe later if I wish to clean.

middle out is how the coil should heat up but only just at the start. all the coils should end up even, looks like the middle keeps getting hotter than the rest. the way yer coil is firing and the fact that your resistance is solid indicates that you don't have any short....a good thing.

however, if you have a spot where the coils are getting hot quickly then you might still have a wicking issue or the coils aren't close enough to the wick to keep them wet.

That's a bliSS on a Provari right? Woohoo, same setup as mine!!!! :toast: I even run about the same resistance and voltage. I just fired mine for the same amount of time as you did in the vid and mine never even got red.
