A lot of the hype of e-smoking is based around the thought of a "healthier" cigarette. Many sellers boast that by smoking an e-cig, your lungs in effect become cleaner, your breathing becomes better, the risk of cancer goes down. I think njoy said it best -- "All the pleasures of smoking, with none of the problems."

To me, it makes sense. Putting water into my lungs rather than tar and carbon monoxide seems like a no-brainer.

But the advent of the Prodigy got me thinking.

Five Volts.

Billowing plumes of vapor.

A mule-kick to the throat.

I'm still smoking analogs, having been failed by njoy, just waiting on my Prodigy to ship, and I'm curious to see what kind of effect five volts will have on my lung capacity in the long run. Getting off of analogs will be an improvement, I'm sure, but will five volts let me go Jason Bourne on a treadmill? I know it's a little too soon to say, but it's something to think about. :)

That got me thinking with 500 or so prodigys sold. That would mean 500 or so jason bournes around as well, I think we could just topple the goverment with that many super vapors. Sattelite images wouldnt even be any good we could just block it out with our giant plumes of vapor!

For the past two years, I have been smoking analogs and vaping at work. Vaping didn't cut down my smoking at all. I still smoked two packs a day. The good news is I quit analogs the minute I got my Prodigy. It's been almost a week now and yes, I back slid and smoked two analogs. But they weren't as satisfying as my Prodigy. In fact, it was rather dissapointing. Now I have no desire to smoke analogs at all as the Prodigy is truly a more satisfying smoking experience. Don't know about going Jason Bourne on a treadmill but my lungs definitly feel better and I can smell again. The Prodigy has two things going for it that will help you make the transition off analogs. You get more vapor and a better throat hit from the Prodigy than analogs, and it has a nice solid feel to it. It doesn't feel like a toy that will break any minute. It was definitly worth the wait.

Yeah, it helps tons, just get off the analogs. 1.5 packs a day for 13 years, been off analogs for 6 months, you feel tons better.

Jason Bourne, lets not go crazy, but you will climb stairs better, haha.

Oh, dang, i forgot about that... You can definitely smell a lot better, and you can actually taste food again. You think buffalo wings taste good now, just wait until you don't smoke analogs anymore holy Scheiße ( i wonder if that will get ***ed) they are so effing sweet (not literally). You can taste again though, and its amazing.

Smell comes back in two days. Taste takes a day or two longer. I just noticed since you mentioned it. My soda tastes wonderful :hubba:

Well I've been vaping for three weeks solid and I have to say I've almost forgot what it is like to caugh up a big brown load of tar in my mouth and almost puke as I spit it out.Wow that is a nice change.Oh and yeah I go to the gym and I have been going Jason Bourne on the treadmill.I used to be able to jog slash run for about ten minutes before being out of breath.I can go around thirty to forty five minutes now and only stop because my legs get tired.Maybe that isn't Jason Bourne to you but it sure is for me! Oh and my not stinking from Ciggerette smoke is very nice too,I now smell other people that smoke and think wow I never even noticed how bad I smelled,no wonder my girlfriend used to complain all the time.So in conclusion maybe it isn't one hundred percent better or completely safe but it has made a huge difference in my life.

Down the rabbit hole..
The Prodigy is the first vaporizer that has given me the satisfaction of an analog used to and I have 4 other models. I have been analog free for 2 months after smoking Marlboro red 100's for 1-2 packs a day for 18+ yrs. The throat hit and amt of vapor the Prodigy produces is sooo much more satisfying than the average e-cig that it makes me not miss analogs at all!!!! I can't thank PS enough for making such a superior product!!

Since being smoke free, I don't get short of breath anymore, I don't reek from smoke, I can taste and smell again and I have made my kids happy! What a difference and now with the Prodigy, I'm not even tempted to go back!

I had the npro too, and was extremely disappointed. It actually made me crave a cigarette. Now I have the prodigy and actually prefer it and I smoke 5 maybe 6 analogs in a day but hopefully when when I get the True Menthol that will cut it out totally.

Have you tried menthol crystals yet? I even add a bit to Cash's menthol to get more flavor.

Watch how much you add, though. I added some crystals to some Cherry liquid I had made, and got a good hit with it. Added some more, and presto, Robitussin.

I'm still a little new what are those and will it fit a 901?

Menthol crystals are what they put in cigarettes to get the menthol flavor. I bought an ounce on ebay for a few bucks, enough to last a lifetime. I'll be glad to mail you a few if you like. Just PM me.

All you have to do is add a few (and I mean a small pinch) of menthol crystals to your juice and shake for a minute or two until they disolve. I'ts the most powerful mint taste out there and contains no oils as it is in crystal form. Cash's menthol was so good because it actually tasted like it had a dash of menthol crystals for flavoring.
