Found a decent deal on eBay. Seller has already emailed me his original invoice from 4 months ago from ProVape so all looks legit. Picked up a Black mini with red LED, battery, charger, and an authentic Vivi Nova for $145 shipped. I want to have both the ProVari and a SemoVar, compare the two and see which one I like best, cost considered as well since the SemoVar is around double what this used Mini just set me back. The reason I decided to go with a ProVari at all is based on all of the feedback I've seen on here about how they are tanks, built well, and fire every time the exact same way, regardless of battery level. I have a Vamo V4 and it's fine, but after just two days one of the adjustment buttons lost its "click" so you can breathe on the button and your V/W will increase. Have had a few nasty surprises already when it was unwittingly turned up to 11W and I didn't notice (on a 3.4 ohm coil, 11W is way too much).

I think of the ProVari as the same reason I own a Weber gas grill. Sure, I can get a device that cooks food on my patio for a third the price, but my Weber is 6 years old, gets used constantly, and looks and cooks like the day I bought it.

So yea, a story you've all heard a million times but I will be joining the fold in a few days!

You may find that your Vamo is about to find a permanent home in a drawer of stuff that never gets opened...

The Vamo will make a reasonable backup, or I have a friend who is on the fence about dropping smokes and getting into vaping so I may be able to get him off on a better foot with the Vamo. Choices choices... As far as the one I picked up being listed last Saturday I'm not sure, it said "Newly Listed" at the top which I thought meant it was added today but I'm honestly not sure.

Oh and I doubt I'll get it but I put an offer on a 2nd one in the classifieds today, it is, IMO, a can't miss deal. Seller hasn't responded in a few hours though so it is likely long gone :)

Lastly, the reason I quit vaping last time was due to bad hardware. Even if it means I spend more this time, that won't be the case this time. Thanks for the replies!

I also pulled the trigger on a mini today. I was going to get the Semovar first, but after vaperev told me this morning that their weekly shipment came in and they didn't receive any I decided to go ahead pick up a provari first. Besides I couldn't pass up the deal on the one I bought in the classies. $165 for a satin mini with the black carbon fiber J wrap, hippo, extension cap and a almost new KFL (the wife already laid claim to the KFL, since I've already got the 3.1 and a Russian 91 inbound). Now I just need a SS twin to top off the look.

Hopefully vaperev will get a shipment in next week, as I really do want both. I've heard nothing but good things on both devices and if I'm going to stick with vaping (going on 4 months now), I figured I might as well get the best gear.

How'd you know where my Vamo is? I tried it once to see if it worked and put it back into it's box and now it's in a bag in my filing cabinet (repository of junk).

The Mini arrived today, no blemishes, AW IMR 350 button top in tow with a TrustFire charger and cable (and the Vivi Nova mentioned in the add but that's going in the spares box). Unfortunately I'm having some really odd stomach/throat thing going on today and have hardly vaped anything so it's just kinda sitting at the moment. Timing was great though, I also got my juice lot from the classifieds so I get to sample all kinds of new stuff once this stomach thing dies down a little. Pics as soon as I can :)

Mini with a DCT Carto Tank, boge laser slotted 2ohm cartos:

Topped with my EHPRO KFL clone - hands down best atty I've tried.

As you can see in the top pic, I'm having a bit of an airflow issue with my DCT tanks. I looked at a hippo but was ok with the KFL sitting on the Mini, however with the air flow issues on the cartotanks, I'm going to think more seriously about picking up a hippo. The gap in the first pic is due to a 510 to 510 sealed adapter to make sure nothing leaks into my new-to-me Mini :)

Loving it so far, as if I have to tell anyone that, lol.

Congrats on your new baby.

About worrying about fluid leaking into the top of the mini, I don't think that is even possible. I don't think you need the extra adaptor at all. Never seen anyone use one or complain that fluid got into their Provari that way.

The only opening on a Provari is around the firing button. Oh and on the bottom of the battery cap.

You stole my thought! There's nothing for juice to get into, unless it flooded down into the button, or maybe seeped into the LED screen, but I think it would take some work to do that.

I've had clearos leak a bit out of the bottom on a regular basis. I just take them off periodically and wipe the connection with a Q-tip.
