FYI:
If you are unfortunate enough to live in the state of NJ and you purchase from Halo, not only will you have to pay sales tax but it might be higher than it should.
Starting a year ago I noticed that the sales tax on Halo's bill (State 7%) did not reflect the reduced total if you use a coupon. The tax should be calculated on the total price after a coupon reduction and not before.
If you email customer service, they will refund you the difference.
So far in the past 9 months if been refunded approximately $12 for this tax discrepancy. Not a big deal, but after the ridiculous property taxes in NJ I don't want this state to have another dime.
Hopefully Halo will have this fixed soon.
