I just asked Halo this question:

Hi,i have a friiend who cant vape juice with too a high PG ratio,do you make juices with 50/50 blends and would you mix juice too a perferred ratio,say like 70VG/30PG oe even 100% VG.

Unfortunately, our ratios are proprietary information which we are unable to share at this time. There are many companies looking to duplicate Halo e-liquid, and we prefer not to offer any specific information regarding ratios or specific ingredients. I do apologize, but hope you understand our position on this. I can tell you that there is substantially more PG than VG in our formulas, however they will vary.

That's a bit disappointing. I'm still waiting for a response back on my inquiry. I think limiting the ratios is kind of lame because I just simple can't vape it unless I cut it with VG and that might screw up the flavor on my end and would be much more suited if they did it instead.

K JUST literally got a reply back via e-mail and this is what I was told.

I'm very sorry, but we do not currently offer custom blends on our e-liquid. All of our products run through cGMP procedures in our Lab under strict QC guidelines, so creating “one-off” bottles is not a cost justifiable option for us. It would cost us quite a lot more to make a single bottle then we could possibly sell it to you for. I do apologize, but hope you understand our position on this.

I asked them to use more VG and they said no way,now i know why i get the TH when i still cut it with VG,im lucky PG dont bother me.

I wish PG didn't bother me so much but it's either I enjoy the juice and have a swollen throat or don't have the juice at all. I'll just have to pass on Halo for now. But good to know all this before I ordered and was left with something I can't use.

Exactly! I found ECF back in 2010 and spent hours researching and learning and the people here have always been a pleasure to talk to! If I'm unsure of anything, there is normally someone out there that knows!

Also, Heavyrocker: it's funny, because when I was researching the various e-juice suppliers, I asked Halo a similar question regarding their PG/VG content and got the exact same answer, verbatim. It's a tough situation; I can certainly understand a company wanting to protect their IP from competitors, but when it comes to a product that people put into their bodies --in one form or another-- there should be a little more effort on the part of the supplier to understand this. I can understand both sides.

This is good to know. I've not had any reactions that I'm aware of, but I'm just beginning to experiment with the e-juice component instead of pre-filled, so who knows? Still, it's certainly worth keeping an eye on.

Ya I noticed it's not as active as it used to be but as you said, good info there it looks like.

That is Halo's pat answer. They keep most things secret. However they will tell you what they don't use like diacetyl. This has never bothered me though I know it does some. But I can tell that all of their liquids contain more than 50% pg.

I've seen that same response posted here countless times. Although it might not give you the answer you were wanting it does give you enough info to know that their juice isn't for people who can't use much PG.

Well there are a bunch of juices I can't vape because they are so high VG, Boba's Bounty for one, I have alot of problems with Ms. T's too as hers are high vG. So it just depends what someone is allergic too. I can't handle high VG. bnrk

Based on how dehydrating it is, I agree. It's got to be a fairly high PG ratio.

I just got a few samples 0 nic. I love all the flavors but my chest is on fire right now and I even mixed it with my 100%vg in my tank and cannot vape it too bad. It is good. I guess I will sick with VG. I used to be able to vape 70%pg but not anymore since completely changing over to VG. Guess I will keep looking for another source.
