Hana mod 30 clone stopped charging

Hey folks,

does anyone have any experience with a Hana mod 30 Clone that I picked up a week ago. Was working well. Now, suddenly it won't charge. No red light on the charger and no power at all.

If you have a separate battery charger, pull the battery and try charging that way. On my first unit, USB circuit board came loose (replaced under warranty) making it impossible to plug and charge.

Check first for any visible sign of shorting.

Thanks.. i'll have to pick up an external charger tomorrow. I opened the unit, and the electronics have a tamper sticker. I figure if I open it I void my warranty. It looks like I'll be make a return to the retailer.

You can also for now, just test the voltage of your battery. See what it is. It is possible too that you drained the battery too low (somehow), that the charger wont charge it.

I wouldn't worry too much about the warranty unless you bought it at a local B&M. I'm not sure Sending back to China would be worth the hassle if it's even possible.
