I'm a firm believer in wearing glasses (as a full time glasses user) when doing any task that has the potential risk of eye damage.
Honestly, after 30 years of wearing glasses, I'm amazed how many people that don't wear them still have two eyes [emoji1]

B) Be a little careful if you're removing a glass bottle from the freezer. If there's air inside, it can expand while warming up, and build pressure. A bottle COULD explode...and from what I hear, it's NO FUN getting 100 mg. Nic-in-the-eye. Just loosen the cap while thawing I would think...
I will probably leave it in the bubble wrap while it thaws overnight before using (and then just keep that bottle out until I need the next one - it's only 30ml, isn't going to last that long.) I'm not going to open the bottle until it's room temperature, in order to prevent condensation forming on the inside and contaminating it with water.

I really don't think that the air inside is doing much of any thing and even if it did, it could only expand to the point it was when it was at the temp. it was bottled at.

In fact, opening a bottle before it comes to room temperature can draw in moisture and allow condensation on the inside of the bottle thus contaminating your nic.

Plus the fact that neither PG nor VG actually "freezes"... at least, not in any consumer-type freezer; it might in a professional deep-freeze. In a regular freezer, it just gets thick, not frozen.

Have you read the ingredients on a bottle of lube? I saw one a while back -- it's literally one ingredient away from ejuice. PG, VG, nat./art. flavors, and instead of nicotine it had whatever chemical they use to make it feel warm to the touch. I remember looking at it and thinking "I could almost vape this." :D
Hahaha that is amazing!!!!

I'll share an anecdote. This is actually one some might not think about so it's probably a good thing to post it, though it's embarrassing.

I was transferring a liter of nic into 60 mL glass bottles. I'd shaken the bejesus out of it to make sure it was well mixed/not settled just before dispensing. I left as little head room in the bottles as possible (that's what I read you should do) and sealed them up tight. While washing up at the sink, I hear this little "tink" behind me. All I can think is that I either had compromised bottles or there was enough air in the liquid that it built up enough pressure after being sealed with so little head space on the bottle. Might have been a combination of both.

All together three bottles broke. So now I have 180 mL of 100 mg nic spilled in a box along with shards of broken glass. Yay! I was at least wearing gloves, but it was a little nerve wracking to clean up.

Moral of the story: do give it a little head space, and let the bottles have a few minutes to breath if you just shook it up.

(and not to mention 180 mL of wasted nic. Grumble.)

*Edited because math is hard.

I wasn't using gloves to handle 100mg nic until I watched a video by one of the myfreedomsmokes guys who was just about on his knees begging use to use gloves, so in deference to him--I do. MFS sells 5 pair of nitrile gloves for $2.50 which is probably a giveaway price. So humor them, wear gloves. (Latex gloves would probably be adequate too. Those are very cheap at any autoparts store.)

Safety glasses seem like a good choice. Even if 100mg is little threat on skin it would really really suck to get in your eyes. My rule is keep your eyes on the work. Look away and something will spill.

Now, I understand that some people are more sensitive to it than others, but for "science" (quote-unquote), I just put a drop of 100mg nic on the back of my hand and left it there for fifteen minutes (I've done it before, but it was with something weaker, 24mg I think. Since I didn't have any issues with that, I felt confident pulling out the "big guns," as it were. In the name of science, of course.) I did not experience any itching, burning, or redness at the site, and when I licked it off afterwards it just felt kind of spicy on my tongue, like hot sauce but without any real flavor. And since there seems no better place to post these pics, here's what I was doing in the meantime:

Before the bubble-wrap:

Wrapped & bagged, and ready for the freezer:
Just about identical to mine! 4-250ml bottles wrapped packed in packing peanuts in a box in the deep freezer in the basement (yes I have a one and a half year old so my vape stuff is all in the besement locked up except what I'm using that day ) I also will be mixing down there when my VG and pg get here on Friday
