Actually, I'm jumping the gun a bit, it's New Year's eve here. 
I'd been running ragged all last week, trying to get as much done as possible before the factories closed for their two week holiday. I was trying to keep up here, but my damn tablet PC lost it's network drivers, and I was too busy to get downtown to the shop I got it from until yesterday.
Unfortunately, not all of our supplies were delivered to the factory on time, so we weren't able to restock fully, but I did manage to get blanks shipped, and the rest is prepped and ready to go into production right after the holiday.
The new shipment of blanks should arrive Monday or Tuesday, and I will be sure to announce here as soon as the are available on the website. I was not able to get the resistance raised yet, but the range has been tightened to a verified 2.4-2.6ohm range, and the cartomizer boxes will be labled as such so you will know what you have.
I also did the final inspection on a new item, from a different factory. I'll be telling you a bit more about it soon, but for now I just want to tell you a little story...
Once upon a time, a brand new product developer arrived in China with a dream in his heart; to make the ultimate multi-functional cig-sized e-cig battery. Drawn both from his own wishful daydreams, and suggestions from forum members, he called his dream "The VK-1," and set out to make it a reality.
Alas, it was not to be... Despite having sucessful prototypes made, the young developer's employer was not pleased with it, and the project was back-burnered and eventually faded into limbo, another lost piece of vapor ware.
But good ideas don't die so easily. Before fading into the night, the VK-1 prototype had been given to a different manufacturer to see if they could perfect it. And although the original company was no longer interested, the manufacturer saw its potential, and continued their work.
Thus it was that when our young hero returned to the land of e-cigs, he discovered that his lost dream still lived! The crude prototypes had spawned a new generation of beautiful and unique batteries, never seen before!!!
Yes, it is true! Although we won't be calling it that, what was once intended to be the VK-1 will finally be making it long-awaited debut, exclusively at Bloog! Stay tuned for more details...
