Harley 56

I just got my 56 today and am confused. I think it is my taste buds, for one I am just getting over being sick, yesterday I ate a hotdog smothered in mustard and couldnt taste it. Im not sure why i am even commenting on here as my opinion shouldnt be taken very seriously. I will update my reply in a few days as sure it will change, but IMO if there were such thing as "Nutter Butter Dark" it would taste just like this. I was hoping for a strong tobacco taste. I do taste tobacco in the aftertaste but not so much in the vape itself. So far im disappointed, But not to the point that I wont use up this juice. I do like it, its just not what I was hopeing for. Im looking for that sharp taste that hits the tip of your tongue, like you get from a nonfilt american spirit, not sweet.
UPDATE: OK I had this all wrong. I no longer taste nut, and it does have a strong tobacco taste as well as that sharp taste at the tip of your tongue. I absolutley love this juice. Im vapeing 6mg and i wish i would have gotten 12mg as it is a little lacking on throat hit. I was seriously planning on ditching this juice. Not now! ITS MINE!!! Its prob a good thing its 6mg coz i cant get off the nipple. I was getting tired of the nic headaches.

not sure how many of the threads you have been following happyonnic so I'll say this here too just in case you haven't already seen it said by others.

I haven't tried the 56 yet but I know with both the Smooth-8 and the Freedom the taste changes quite a lot in the first few days and then seems to level off. I have no idea why it does this as it is the first liquids that I've had that do. But others seem to be having the same experience too. So for what it's worth I would definitely give it a few days of even occasional use before you decide on it.

well vaping it again tonight and have to say I am really liking it. Very close to real tobacco flavor. I don't taste the nuttiness at all. The amount of vapor this produces is just outrageous.

hmmm...working the H56 in the Tornado, just arrived today, not sure what I think yet...

I agree the darker tobacco flavor is there, along with something else I can't figure out what yet. A vanilla-minty-something hint of flavor behind the darker tobacco flavor. Not sweet, real subtle. Anyone else get that?

Decent throat hit, it does produce a lot of vapor...PG/VG mix?

I got the Harely56, Smooth8, and a newpure sample. I like the Harley and have been vaping it all day. I tried the smooth8, and there is just something about it that I do not like even after the third cart.. The newpure is alright I guess.
So I am probably going to try and sell the smooth8..

Just got the Harley 56 today. It's not what I expected, but I am really enjoying it. At first it reminded me of 555, which was my favorite until Dekang screwed up the recipe (or can't maintain consistency, whichever).
Now I am detecting the Virginia and Hilton flavors, with a slight nutty taste on exhale. Halo's description is right on. It's a straightforward tobacco flavor, which is what I mainly vape. Good stuff, part of my regular line up!

If you don't mind a suggestion, wait a day or two and then try the smooth-8 again. It seems to mellow out even if you don't vape it. If you still don't like it then sell or trade, but I would hate to see someone get rid of something too quickly that they might come to really enjoy.

.....I think this stuff is so fresh and strong it just needs air and time to calm down...I don't know why...but I am guessing!

Could it be the fact that even if you lived in California or New Jersey, the Halo is created , boxed , shipped and in your hands faster in 5 or 6 days than the Chinese juice would ever be ?

I'm about 2-3 days from NJ and the Smooth 8 was strong at first, almost to strong. I didn't want to do a review on it until I used it a bit. I went out of town and took it with me and after 2 or 3 days I'm liking the Smooth 8 almost as much as the Freedom Juice.

The Harley sounds like it's the bomb. I'll find out since it arrived while I was gone.

My first real review of a juice:

Harley 56 - 18mg

Using an XHALER (HV mod)

First off - the juice arrived perfectly packaged. The bottle is a thing of beauty...it really is.
Now...on to the good stuff...

The smell of this juice is dark, by "dark" I mean it has a deep, rich tobacco scent. There's something else there, but am unsure what it is.

The consistancy of the juice is not runny like Dekang, but pretty viscous. I compared the consistancy to the HV juice I have from nhaler and it appears to be slightly thicker...although not by much.

I fully expected it to be a caramel color based on the scent, but alas...it's very light in color. It's a very, very, very light beige (best color I could come up with). Drop by drop, it looks clear. This juice is CLEAN, folks.

I primed a new atty with 2 drops and filled up a cart to get vaping on it.

It has a nice deep, tobacco taste on inhale and a light chocolate tobacco taste on exhale.

Now, let me say....I vape in strengths anywhere from 12mg-36mg. Most of the time it's right in the middle (18mg-24mg). This 18mg Halo Harley 56 just kicked me in the azz!! The throat hit lingers a bit, but that's not a bad thing. Maybe that is where some have said they detect menthol. I don't think of menthol when I vape this juice though. The vapor production is also great.

I think I read that some have said that it tastes like a Black and Mild, but I don't get that at all. Black and Milds have a vanilla tobacco taste...and this juice is on the opposite end of the spectrum in that regard. I also do not detect a "nuttiness" to it either.
If I had to describe this juice's taste to someone without tastebuds, I'd be able to sum it up in 2 words:

Chocolate tobacco

I'm going to vape this the rest of the day to see if any of this changes, but if you like chocolate and like a dark, rich tobacco flavor...then you will LOVE this juice.

Thanks for the HV report on this on TC, there is something about the H56. This morning I loaded a cart for the drive to work of my usual, found myself switching to a cart with H56 halfway to work. Been vaping it all day and really liking it, even at 12mg it has a really good kick.
