Others explained it to me in another thread... Low Resistance attys give greater throad hit and vapor on the same battery. Something about "low ohms = more power" I guess. Apparently, better than the passthru.
Which would be great because I spend way too much time in front of a computer... I can't imagine being tethered to it.
Although, that would probably be the next step. 
haha yuh i got a passthru and i loved it so much i started just carting my laptop around the house connected to it. but i would be very interested in such an atty, or really any at all that didnt seem to hate me so hard >:[
