Ive smoked stogies for about 6 years, I guess that makes me a lightweight around these parts. Totally off the things, by accident almost!

The best part is taking a pull from a friends analog once in a while, its just not good. Im sure my opinion would change again if I didnt have my ecigs for a week though.

So far (1 month) I have TOTALLY quit, did not mean to, just really liked the vapor better, so smooth and tasty!. I feel about the same except no cough, a bit more energy, and a bit of increased libido.
Again NOT sold as a quit smoking aid, and your mileage may vary, but it seems to please many folks out there, I count myself one!

Started my first ecig on Jan. 6th of this year. And by the 22nd of the month had gone from 45 analogs average per day down to 7. Two batteries failed, sent them back for replacements and then the last one failed. When the third and last battery failed,I had a 12 day period with no ecigs and soon got my analog habit up to 20 a day. But not the 45 that it used to be.

Now, I am back to vaping and have finally gotten down to an average of 7 analogs a day again. My aim is zero analogs, and I have been smoking the damn things for almost 50 years--(started when I was 12)..

There has to be something else in those analogs besides nicotine that is addictive:evil:

I received my starter kit on January 5th. At that time, I had about 10 cigarettes left in a pack. I smoked them alternately with my dse901.
Once I finished them, I never looked back. I smoked for over 40 years and I don't even miss them.

I am happy vaping and it is much cheaper. I am happy not smelling like smoke and I am even happier vaping at my desk!

wheezing no more!

Good Luck! It really is easy.

22 years of smoking analogs...

Then, arriving one day earlier than expected my new "personal vaporizer".
Opened it, charged it and tried it before work that day...

The open pack of Newports in my car still sits there to this day staring me in the face,
and I have no urge to touch it. I started vaping with no intention to completely quit.

Not one analog since :)

YMMV
ENJOY VAPING!

I had quit smoking on New Years Day 2009 using the nicotrol inhaler and welbutrin. Found out about "personal vaporizers"( as I now refer to them),at the begining of Feb,and can honestly say I will never pick up a cigarette again. I'm not on the welbutrin anymore or the nic inhaler....but I am a vaping fool!! The Wiz!

I've been smoking since I was 10 years old, the last few years have been a couple packs a day or more, depending on my stress level. I've tried to quit using hypnotism (laughable), the patch (basically all this did was burn me - I still wanted to - and did - smoke while using them), Wellbutrin (worked good for about an hour :nah: ), and cold turkey, which was fine until the first time I got super pi$$ed at the husband, and also, cold turkey made my throat sore as hell and made my face swell up (nicotine leaving the system and attacking the soft tissue on it's way out, or so I've read somewhere)

I finally resigned myself to the fact that I would just be a smoker for life, because nothing worked. But the cost, my God! Every time I turned around there'd be another tax increase! Something had to give.

So, I researched and purchased my first e-cig. Mind you, I had no intention of quitting smoking. But my first day, and without even trying to or meaning to, I cut back from 2 packs to 6 cigarettes (I think that was just because I smoked menthol and my menthol juice wasn't here yet), the second day, 4 cigarettes, 3rd day, 3 cigarettes, then the 4th day I smoked my last one, just because I had paid for the damn thing.

2 days after smoking my last cigarette, out of curiosity, I asked the husband for a drag off his Camel. It wasn't even a full drag, because it was pure gross, it just tasted like I'd rolled up a newspaper and was trying to smoke that!

That's when I knew that as long as I have my e-cigs, I would never go back to analogues again.

Sorry this is long. It still blows me away! :D

I ran out of carts today and fell back on the dead leaf cigarettes. Now I'm really really hoping the postman delivers the liquid I have on order tomorrow, because I'm enjoying vaping so much more. I hadn't planned on giving up tobacco, but when I can vape I have absolutely no desire for it.

You don't refill your carts?
