Has anyone seen this ProVari yet?

I've noticed that my Aero tanks don't sit flush on my Provari mini 2.5 with the extra air channels, but do on my full size 2.5 without them as well. Pro vape also changed the positive battery contact when they added the extra channels.

Yeah I noticed that too. It's now a little square gold colored contact instead of the round silver colored contact.

I still don't see why they would do both and add the air slots and lengthen the center pin. Guess they are just covering all ends. My guess is so that some tanks with shorter 510 connections that may sit flush can still make contact and get airflow.

I noticed I get a buttload of e1 errors on the new one and always need to back it off fire it and snug it back down. I'm not cranking it down just till it feels snug cause otherwise the tank is wobbly. Well at least I know it not sitting flush is the new design and not something wrong with mine lol.

I havent had any issues with mine but I dont use clearomizers on it.

To me, that would be like sticking a turd on top of an icecream cone as Ive never been a fan of clearomizers but to each their own.

In all honesty, those using RBA's or Carto tanks probably have never had an airflow issue either.

Always wanted to try getting into RBA's but never jumped in. I should just do my research and give it a shot.

Give carto tanks a try if you havent first. A lot of people here the word "tank" used when referring to a clearo and completely skip over carto tanks. Some of this is from cartomizers literally laving a bad taste in their mouth but this is eliminated with a carto tank.

To me, they provide the convenience of a clearo and the better flavor of an RBA without all the fiddliness.

I've noticed that I get a lot more E1 errors also and that the threads have a lot more play in them as well.
Almost sent my newest mini back because of it.
I use my Russian almost exclusively on my new mini because of it, but I still keep my clearomizers around for when I want a quick flavor change. I simply don't have a stack of RBA's that I can do this with, and taking my dripper isn't always an option.

I contacted provape about it and they offered to adjust it for me and to just send the tanks I use in with it so they could adjust it. They asked for the tanks I use to make sure they don't adjust it to one then it won't work with others but I assured them the mini I have sits flush and had no issues with any of my tanks. I just don't see why they couldn't have left it be and just added the notches. I think they tried to perfect it to much.

I also notice for some reason if I swap the same tank back and forth between my older provari mini and the new one I get a fuller more consistent vape on the older one.

The e1 errors are so bad I get one every time I change my tank or refill it. Even if my tank becomes loose and I re snug it I get an e1. I basically have to fire it loose then snug down while firing and I'm OK after that.

Think I'm gonna send it in to get checked though cause it bugs the hell outta me. I may even request and pay if i have to for them put an un slotted top on it if possible.
