Has anyone tested a V2 battery?

Im not too fond on their prices or they way the market as a 4.2 volt battery even if it comes off the charger near that range, like thats something new.... But, Has anyone actually tested a V2 battery to see what it comes off the charger at and what it vapes at throughout its life cycle?

While using the v2 I never tested it BUT the v2 uses the standard kr808d-1 battery and everyone who sells this battery also states this is the case. with the size of the battery I cannot believe it holds this voltage as there was a definite difference in performance as the battery degraded it's charge.
As with all these batteries they are rated with a range 4.2 to 3.3 so its not marketed as a 4.2 volt battery exclusively (i havent been to v2's site in a long time so they may be trying to which would be false. but they are rated to come off the charger as 4.2. how long they hold that level? thats a diff story.

I started with V2 before they introduced their "4.2V" battery. As it is not regulated, performance degrades. An 808 size batt usually has a capacity of 280mAh on the outside (for the non-shorty variety).

I can drain one with 2.6-2.8 cartos in 3-4 hours (not chain vaping, but fairly regular).

This is anecdotal only: Based on the taste-flavor from my VV at 4.2V (regulated), the drop off on one of these 808 batts from full charge is within the first 30mins of use. Decent enough for the size, but continues downhill until depleted 3-4hrs later.

The price point they offer these batteries at is too high (IMHO) vs comparable 808 batts at other vendors. They all work about the same, I'd rather go by price and get more sticks for the same $$$.

Yeah. Most on the v2 forums say its for about 10% of its charge cycle. I prefer SI as its regulated to 3.7/3.6 and I prefer a consistant vape over a hotter vape at the beginning.

what is SI Dac? Did you mean SmokTech? I have a smoktech eGo (its not 808d) and I swear, it doesn't drop until right before it dies. I vape it and it had died before I knew it was even close to being dead. I'm surprised at how well its performing. But I'm looking at the V2 batteries on smokelessimage's site right now because I'd like a 2nd eGo 900mAh. Idk if I should get one now. Hm. I was going to get one and then get 510 to 808d adapter. Should I? Or should I stick with Smoktech? Dont mean to hijack.

SI is smokeless image, another 808 battery seller. If I had it to do over again I'd have gone with them over v2, when buying my first e cig.

ah yeah, I've been looking at getting a couple volts from them, but I'm now contemplating getting the new KR510 3.7v regulated battery with the crown of LED lights? Its pretty new but its got a great price point so I think i'll take the plunge. It uses a proprietary charger but at least it accepts 510 attys and cartos.

10% kinda blows not that other unregulated 808's maintain for long.

That's typical of an unregulated battery. It comes hot off the charger above the 3.7 volt range and quickly declines....spends most of its time slowly working it's way down from 3.8 to 3.5 and quickly drops it's charge again once below that. This is with no resistance attached so when it's hitting it's stride in the 3.7v range it's actually putting out less with the cartos attached.

Volts and bloogs are set to stay at (about) 3.6v loaded. I actually enjoy the first few toots off an unregulated battery and have had some that hold steady in their comfort zone for a good couple of hours. Of cource those are ususally the "overpriced" ones from V2 and V4l. At least V4l has regular sales that put their stuff in the reasonable range.

I am glad I read through the comments in this thread, I have learned so much. I am brand new to the forum and have been vaping for only 2 months. I don't vape as much as everyone else seems to. A cheap 808 battery will last me AT LEAST a day, and a filled CE3 will go for a couple days. I don't even know how the voltage difference affects vaping. I'm just glad that I haven't had an analog in 64 days!

I am also relatively new to vaping, less than a month, and I picked up some barely used volt and V2 808 batts. I don't vape a lot but at this point I can't really tell the difference between them in terms of performance.

There probably isn't much difference between them at all.

The main difference is that v2's batteries will start off hot and drop through out their life cycle. The volts will stay consistant through the battery's life, with maybe a drop in performance toward the end of the life.

On the price being to high, it is because they offer a lifetime warranty. And they don't ask a bunch of questions they just send replacements and a envelope for you to send your old batteries back to them.

Their life time warranty is only valid if you've purchased juice or carto's from them in the last 90 days.
