I think my curiosity is killing me. I haven't had a cig since the day I bought my ecig. Do they taste horrible now? I'm so curious to see "how bad they are" to confirm I'm never wanna go back and they're nasty BUT I'm scared I'll go back to my old ways if I try one.
Tried one ... not even worth your curiosity. Safe to say it will leave you wondering how you EVER did it to begin with.

I'm having a lot of cig cravings even knowing how disgusting they are to me now. I'm so far successfully vaping through them but they're much stronger than they were at first.

Sounds like it might be a physical dependency thing that WTA could help. There are other alkaloids in tobacco than nicotine, and some of us have as big an addiction to those, if not even moreso.

Yes, I've been thinking of trying WTA. Thanks. I hate these cravings. Lately every time I'd have had a strong cig craving like just now my phone is updating, automatic strong craving. It's crazy.

If in general you're happy to be smoke-free, but still having strong cravings, rather than just passing thoughts, then definitely give WTA a try -- it's the only way I could recover from my relapse last summer; I managed to put the stupid coffin nails down again, and was positively delighted about it, no thoughts of smoking at all -- and after 10 days, the cravings came back, really strong, bone-deep cravings. The next day, I added some of the WTA I already had on-hand... and later that night, I realized I hadn't had a craving all day.

wholecig.com -- $20.95/15ml for the 24mg; I use that, so I can just add a little to my ejuice; I started out adding it so it made 10% of my juice, and now down to 6%, just about to drop again to 5%.

Give it a shot, I used it to get through heavy cravings. Just added a few drops, sometimes more, to my tank with my regular juice when I got hit with a bad craving. Worked great, within 3 puffs I was calm again. I only used it on an as needed basis so even though it isn't cheap, it lasted me for a really long time.

Thanks, I think I will give it a try. I was hesitant because I know you diy your juice and I don't yet. But... :)

Now that I know I can just add it to juice I already have it sounds a lot easier. Thank you Andria, and LeftOfCenter! I will order some very soon. :)

Did anyone else who had a cigarette since vaping feel totally dissatisfied at how thin and scarce the smoke was? For me, realizing that was even worse than realizing how bad it tasted. No going back. :)

Yes, back when I was bouncing back & forth between smoking and vaping. At one point, I had gone about 2 weeks with just vaping, then broke down and had a smoke. First thought was, why is the cloud so little?

I was still using bought ejuice when I first started using it; sweet-vapes' blueberry muffin, which I mixed with a little of High Desert Vapes' banana nut bread... mixing all those which were high-PG helped me offset the 100% VG of the WTA. I finally got sick of all the damn figuring and just started trying out DIY; fortunately this strawberry & cream I've been vaping for about 5 months was about my 2nd or 3rd DIY try, and it was my first real success, because it's GREAT. But you don't have to DIY; I use this particular ejuice calculator -> DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors With Nicotine Plus PG/VG Adjusting -- just because it allows you to treat a pre-made ejuice as if it's a flavor, and will take the nic level and PG/VG of each thing you enter into consideration for the final targetted outcome for both nicotine and PG/VG -- it's a godsend if you want to mix some stuff without getting into from-scratch DIY.

Thank you. It looks a little complicated. I don't currently have a table or enough free counter space to measure stuff out (I live in a crappy apartment). But it will come in handy once I change my circumstances.

Well, I generally ignore everything on the right side, until I know I have a finished recipe, and it's nice to see how much I'm NOT paying for ejuice. But for just regular use, I usually ignore all that pricing stuff.

Also -- I never add water or PGA, so that line stays blank. If you use high-VG, you might want to add some of either, or both, for thinning, but it's not necessary otherwise.

All the rest should be fairly self-explanatory; just enter what you want to target for nic level and PG/VG at the top, and enter each item along with any nicotine they may contain, and their PG/VG level -- actual DIY flavors (not juice) are usually 100% PG; the juices you enter as flavors could be anything, and the program takes everything you enter into account, so you know how much of what to combine.

Interesting. I'll have to start diy at some point for financial reasons so this will be handy. :)

I won't. I suspect I might still enjoy them. My 1 year of being cig free is May 5. I don't want to mess up now.

Congrats on almost having one full year of being cigarette free! You should be very proud. I, myself... just hit 2 years cigarette free on march 20th (smoked pack/day for 11+ years). I was not able to quit cold turkey (tried many times) I had a friend who had success with chantix so I gave it a shot and now 2 years later I know Ill never go back. Its so not worth it !!

Only reason I picked up vaping was because about a year after I quit cigs I had a huge girls trip to vegas and wanted to make sure I wouldnt be tempted at all out there. Been vaping off and on ever since.

Goodluck. Keep fighting those urges... they will subside. Xo

P.s - I havent known anyone who had long term success like you have from switching from cigs to vaping... they usually switch back very quickly because it is a somewhat different experience. Anyway, way to go!

You need to hang around and get to know the folks here at ECF, then -- a great many of us have had excellent success with the long-term, permanent switch. Largely because a lot of us have tried that other snake oil(s) and this works so much better! :thumb:

And BTW, WELCOME!

That's usually due to people trying to use "cigalikes" to quit smoking.
They don't really work so well for quitting smoking, although some here have managed that feat.
