Has anyone tried having a cigarette lately?

Yup. I have eliminated my 3 morning before work cigs that i had with coffee and my two work break cigs for vape and am very happy with that. That's five less a workday = 100 less a month.

I can't vape in the evenings even at 6mg as it makes my insomnia worse and tbh I'm the long draw, seeking relaxation effect type of smoker rather than shorter quicker puffs for stimulant effect like a lot of smokers so in the evenings vape just doesn't cut it for me, doesn't give that relaxed feeling, so have 2 or 3 before bed.

That's weekdays.

Weekends if I go out to drink I will load up on a strong baccy juice and vape until it just doesn't cut through the alcohol and then move on to cigs. So I probably halved my weekend cig intake too.

I am hotwire, I am a dual user, I am an addict.

But a 50% cutting down is nothing to be sneezed at, so I'm happy with that for now.

Am returning to the UK soon (currently live in Shanghai where you can smoke in bars and literally anywhere you like) so am thinking my weekend / bar cigarette use will be cut down a bit more too as I'd rather stay inside and vape then go outside. So then I might be down to like 60% less cigarette intake.

I'm happy with that at the moment. They still taste the same to me tbh.

A couple of days ago after work we decided to grab a beer on our way home. In Cypress, where I live, smoking in bars is allowed. We stop in a pub that I've been to many times in the past, but have not been in in quite a while.

I open the door and the smell of cigarettes, old and new, hits me. I never noticed it before. I tell myself that I'll get used to it; much like when you walk into a bookstore, all you can smell is the StarBucks coffee, after a few minutes you no longer smell it.

Two beers later I can still smell the smoke. We leave, I go home. As I'm getting undressed, as I pull my shirt over my head I smell smoke !! Wow, this was the exact same thing my non-smoking friends complained about; how they stunk like cigarettes after a night of drinking !! In the past I always thought they were just being whiny non-smokers. Nope.

I work at a vape store and the stink of someone who just smoked a cigarette is downright overpowering. It strikes you like a wave. I've literally had to take two to three steps back from some people because they reeked like a spit-moistened ashtray. Even worse if they have morning-hangover breath, too.

I cannot believe that's how I smelled, too!!

Although when I was around my GF, a non-smoker, I always kept gum and a small bottle of Purell with me. She said I was the least stinkiest smoker she had ever known. Still, though, the fact that I smell like Tide and my breath only stinks when I eat food pleases me.

I tried an analog about a year into vaping. 2 drags and I almost puked.
Now I can even be around more than 2 smokers without getting sick from the smell.

I hear ya there. I have a couple smokers at work and they come around me and I just want to vom. its such a disgusting smell, hard to think you don't realize it when you smoke how bad you really smell

I had one last weekend after about 5 months. I still enjoyed the first few drags but didn't find any particular urge to have another. No matter how much I tell myself they are bad and stink, that leads me to believe I would go back to smoking if for some reason the extremists were able to deny me my e-cig salvation. I have over 1000 mil of 60MG of nic in the freezer (so far) to avoid that scenario.
