I ask this question only because I'm curious. I don't ever purchase fakes and I certainly can afford a ProVari.

Ok, technically they could but it wouldn't be anything of quality or workmanship that the American made one is, no way no how.
Not saying if they could they wouldn't but I guarantee if you held them side by side the differences would be immediately apparent!

Agree American quality can't be beat. I'm happy supporting Americans.
Some have tried. All have failed. China probably could possibly come close to making a physical device similar to a Provari, but they choose not to. Their entire business concept appears to be, "We build cheap, you buy cheap. It break, you can buy another." The processors that China uses in their regulated mods all use the same cheap chipset. The Provari processor is the heart of their system and uses a high-quality, military-grade USA-made circuit board and makes their processors in house at their facility in Wa.
China companies will never be able to match the customer service or lifetime promise to repair their mods like Provape does. Provape addresses these issues in the following interviews and video:

If they made fakes, not many people would buy them. Those who own ProVaris would laugh at such a thing and those who live for the next FastTech sale would denounce the clone for only having 1 button, no port to charge a cell phone, no vw, no vibrating head, etc...
I read all the links you posted and I am one of those who thought 15 clicks was a bit much. Also I have to admit I enjoy the Kanger ProTank Mini 2 and really not sure if the ProVari is right for that type of vaping.
I appreciate the time you put in to add those valuable links. I enjoyed reading them.
kinda funny because 15 clicks would actually rotate through the whole menu back to the beginning again, not sure why everyone thinks 5 presses to get in the menu and then a couple more to set voltage is so difficult.
china wont clone the provari becuase they dont want to spend the money and resources to engineer a chipset that will work the same with the same accuracy, when the one they have now costs 3 bucks to make and everyone is buying it. once they put that much effort into it it wont be cheap anymore.
many forget before the vamo came along last november and forced lower pricing the ZMAX was actually 125 dollars and that "was" their provari killer
