omg... seriously hate the united states postal service. in the last 2 months, out of 8 deliveries, they have succesfully delivered 3 without complications. sometimes its my local office, sometimes in transit, or even at the source.... but they manage to misplace, forget about or delay my package somewhere.

there are a lot of good ecig companies out there with great customer service and product and i am ashamed to say that there are a lot of these that i will not buy from ever again because they dont offer any other shipping option.

im voting with my dollar. I WILL NOT buy ANYTHING FROM A COMPANY THAT USES USPS EXCLUSIVELY EVER AGAIN. i suggest all who have had issue with usps do the same.

if enough of us do this... then the companies that wish to retain the business will find an alternative shipping method

I've never had a good experience mailing anything.

Personally my man (or woman) I haven't yet had a problem with the USPS as far as delivering goes (knock on wood). Not just for PV stuff, but in general as far as priority/express mail goes. If it's one of those options, the USPS seems pretty dead on balls accurate. There are tracking numbers and the only place that didn't give me a tracking number was VaporBeast (I still love you guys a lot!) and even then it was in my box in two days. I haven't actually checked into it, but I've assumed that a lot of these places are kinda DIY places that actually put stock into quality and so aren't like big conglomerates. That means using a dedicated UPS/FedEx type service would really put them over the ringer in terms of money allocation, so they use the trusty ol' USPS (or EMS if getting from China). It hasn't bothered me and makes sense. I'm sorry you have been having problems with them and I would strenuously suggest you go to your local Post Master and make him aware that your post person isn't doing their job correctly. Don't take it out on the awesome vendors we all depend on.

I'd have to disagree. Perhaps it's just your local and regional USPS offices that have issues. The USPS in my area is terrific. I get packages on time every time. As John1952 mentioned I don't have these issues with UPS, but I've had these issues repeatedly with FedEx. At the end of the day, I think quality of services it not always the same across every region, I think different services deliver at different levels of quality based on each individual locality or region. Just like I can have a McDonald's that is awesome at one location and one that can't even put the burger on a cheeseburger (I actually had that happen one time)

Where I feel for your issues, I think it is most likely just the USPS in your area that is lacking.

I concur. When my father was having troubles getting mail at his house, he visited the Post Master post-haste (couldn't resist :D) and got it straightened out. Not a problem since!

The USPS is like the mafia. Show the family respect and compliance.. a little trick I learned. Leave a slim Jim (wrapped of course) in your box at random times. It's like a pay off. If you do so your letters will be in a neat stack and your packages will smell of febreeze I kid you not. It's like some inside thing I really don't understand.

wow as many usps sucks threads as i see on here ( and MANY other forums) i didnt think i would start a love-in... seriously- google "usps sucks" and try to get to an irrelavent result or even run out of results before dying of old age.

that being said my local carrier is fine (now anyway). out of all the issues ive had.. only one was my local carrier and yeah i straightened them out and i think they now fear me....

but most have been other locations... a guy in oakland california sent my package to south carolina ( i live in tennessee)... there is a place in ny (whitestone) that sat on one of my packages for 52 hours before putting it in the processing center (in the same building it was dropped off at)... ive got another one in whitestone that is fixing to eventually be processed (when they feel like it) that will be late on the priority shipping i paid EXTRA for as of tomorrow....

there are several examples just in the last two weeks that i just gave of this companys ineptitude literally from one coast to the other.... but i digress...

maybe they just have it out for me... guess ill go buy some slim jims or something

I don't hate any of them, though I liked usps better when I lived in florida. Now that I'm in new york, I don't get mail for days and then all of a sudden I get all my packages in one shot.

For my business parcels, I've used fedex ground for over 10 years, basically because they get it there cheaper and faster, although I need to pack fragiles very well with them, they are the roughest out of all three with my stuff. The OP is from tennessee, no chance you could be from the memphis area???.....an area which would likely be a depressed economy podunk if not for the big company headquartered there.

For some people who live in rural areas, USPS the only game in town. UPS and FEDEX should be required to serve everywhere USPS goes, even if it's only weekly or biweekly.

It's funny that V4L is commenting here on this thread. I wonder if they still put 30ml juice bottles in large priority envelopes with no bubble wrap/insulation. Then make a youtube video mocking anyone who complains about your shipping skills. Anything fragile, liquid or perishable by postal law should be marked and packed better than that. Why the hate? Would a little bubble wrap and scotch tape bite into your profit that much?
