I am trying to start vaping for a number of reasons.

Health, Family's Health and Convenience have a lot to do with my decision.

That said, I seen a review on youtube about Blu Cigs and bought a starter kit before I found this forum. Now, I am starting to think twice about my order.

I know it all depends on personal preference based on what others have said, but I thought if I explain my habit below, someone might be able to shed some light and point me in the direction on how to proceed from here..

I started smoking at a very young age (14), I am now 28 so it has been 14 years. It really became a habit by the age of 15 and I was smoking about a pack a day.

As I was getting older and began drinking beer or any alcohol, I was up to a pack and a half a day..

Nowadays, I cut down to 1/2 a pack a day to 3/4 max.. My current brand is marlboro lights.

I need to smoke when I wake up with my first cup of coffee. I smoke after every meal, when Im on the phone for an important business call or with a good friend.. And when I get bored!

I know I am adicted because I get angry when I am out of cigs for a certain amount of time and get stressed about it so I pick arguments with the wife lol.. (she just cracks up at me when I do and I end up smiling)

So, what would be my best bet.. I am looking to get a similar sensation with the vapor as I do with a real cig so I guess vapor production and a slight throat hit, not a throat hit I would get from Reds or Camels ect, but a normal light cig..

Its so bad that I have to get up and smoke just talking about it gets me to crave.. lol after watching those videos on youtube, I must have smoked a half a pack already

I dont wanna deal with topping off the carts, or filling up blanks.

Just a simple e-cig that will give me what I am looking for that is under 100 bucks and the cart packs under $10 for a five pack..

Sorry about the long post.. but I really need some help because after reading these forums, I became confused a little..

I didn't get to read if you decided to keep the blu cig order or not, but I have a suggestion if you kept it :)
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my Blu. Great size, weight, and the PCC is super slick looking. Battery life sucks pretty hard, but with the PCC I could care less as it doesn't even matter. I was able to quit smoking analogs with no problem whatsoever after I started with the Blu. I DO however suggest purchasing an m801 atomizer, some carts, and some liquid from LitecigUSA or any other of our wonderful suppliers. Maybe even run to your local Michael's or Walmart and pick up some VG. The 801 atty on the Blu vapes like a monster. My friend has a 510 and my Blu performs JUST as well in vapor production and flavor in my opinion. But yeh the carts are iffy and most of the flavors aren't that great, but it's such a handy little unit, and with the right atty and liquid, you're GOLDEN. Also someone at blucigforum.com let me in on the KR808 adapter that let's you use their cartomizers which may be a real convenient thing, and I've heard good things about this combo!

Ok I just bought the VAPOR KING-Ultimate Ultimatum Automatic Kit and requested overnight shipping lol ...

Hope this does the trick! I am trying to not smoke an analog after New Year.

Wish me Luck! Thanks for all the help.. nightwalker im glad you responded! I dont wanna deal with refilling the carts.. just smoke and change em..

You'll be happy with your choice.
But you still need to add some drops of liquid after using the cartomizer.
If you don't do that, the fill inside the cartomizer will get burned.
If you throw them away without refilling them, it will cost a lot of money.
I hope you bought some liquid.

Anyway good luck!

All this talk of cartomizers brings up a recurring thought...how can they be so cheap (~$10 per 5) compared to stand-alone atomizers ($7-$20 ea.)? What am I missing here?

The cartomizers are disposable.
You can refill them, maybe 5 or 6 times, then you toss them.
You can't take out the fill, because the atomizer is built in the fill.

I don't think it's cheaper at all, but it is convenient.

stand-alone atomizers last a lot longer then cartomizers.

..

I got a Fifty-one which uses customizer. It's been sitting since last April and needs the customizers but I do have the batteries and charger---no guarantees if it still works.
If you promise to pass it along after seeing if you like it, and you cover the postage, I’ll send it to you.
PM me and I’ll see if I can gather it all.

Edit: Fifty-One has now gone to a new owner.

hi newb,

i havent read all of the replies here but i had a similar habit to you.i smoked for ten years since i was 16 a pack a day and lately 1/2 to 3/4 pack...i always got angry and anxious when i ran out....a month ago i went out in the car at 11.30pm on a tuesday night to get cigs!!!the petrol station was closed so i drove further just so i cud have a cig for the morning with my cup of tea!!!this really worried me and i kinda knew the addiction was bad...haha

anyway i ordered an ecig 3 weeks ago and got it 2 weeks ago.i have some bad days where the parts dont make vapor...seem to be charging batteries all day etc. but i havent once needed a cig...yeah ive wanted one when others were but i smoked my ecig and nobody was bothered...least of all me.i tried a real cig in the first and second week and even then didnt like the taste of real cigs...cant believe after 2 weeks i am feeling healthier but most of all(im still young and nieve) i still get to have my lil habit without it killing me...i used to have cigs too when i thought i deserved one....eg a stressful day or a bad day or when id got loadsa work done....now i still have that without having to go outside for it!!!

anyway a long winded way of saying that it really might work for you and give it a go...u gotta stick with it for one week...even if you smoke a few real cigs to get you thru the first week you will find out the truth about vaping(it took me a week to learn how to inhale properly!get best vapor etc)...but i think you havta go into it thinking it will work and you will make it work rather than thinking if its not working within 24hrs ill give up the idea...

ps.most of the advice is what i got when i started and its true bout the learning to inhale and giving it a week thing...hated the taste the first few days!

code on liberty-flights.co.uk/.com is ecf69 for 10% off.they have kr808d...thats where i got my 901

Thanks everyone! I guess it all comes down to which one of the vapor king products are best, and is it the same as the KR808D-1?

Also, can I get any one of the two cheaper anywhere else or are there any coupon codes floating around ?
