googled e cigs news a day or two ago and read a report that 1 in 40 smokers are using an ecig......

number seems kind of high if you ask me... buddies i know that smoke have not even heard of them...

everyone knows what a cigarette is

does everyone know what an e cigarette is, NO.. mass public penetration of what an e cig is a very small percent....

ecigs high up on google, yahoo search etc wont happen unless you get something like this ... like obama saying he is using e cigs now....

I hadn't seen anyone else vaping until I passed someone on the street in Puerto Vallarta last week that had a 510.

I live in a tiny town, so no one here vapes, but I am getting my parents blu's for mother's and father's day. My dad smokes cherry vanilla cigars and loved the cherry and vanilla premade carts for the blu and my step mom liked the straight tabacco ones. I told them If they pay for the fluid I will take care of refilling their carts for them. They need to quit analogues badly. Also, I started vaping at school (grad school) and have since talked a couple of people into looking into PV's. They thought it was a great idea!! SO EXCITED!

I live in central Cali, and I have yet to see someone else vaping, aside from the ew people I have gotten to switch. I love vaping out and about and having people stare at it. To really get a rise, I hold it by the LED end, so it looks like I'm burning myself. My hubby works at a hospital, so when I go to have lunch with him, I walk right up to the entrance and in the door past the smokers. I keep waiting for someone to ask me about it, but the don't. I would love to see more vapers!

My son, who is 32, went to a sports bar a few weeks ago and the bartender said he couldn't use it; it wouldn't be fair to the other smokers! The owner said he could use it though. I thought that was a riot! In NC it doesn't meet the definition of a cigarette which is a LIGHTED cig, pipe or cigar.

I vape at work (K-12) and have not had any problems, however, I do try to vape in my office, or infront of folks I know, working in K-12.....I am expecting trouble, so I am trying not to go there....

There was someone vaping in the movie theatre the other day. The movie was Avatar and he got booted out by security after about 10 puffs. Not sure if he got a refund or not.

I vaped during a public health conference got a ton of questions from sanitarians and health officials they all seemed pretty interested in it and no one kicked me out of the building and im in Illinois smoking banned in all public places it was a big hit at the soscile
hour too.

will I was at an funeral, before entering I ask the director of the funeral home if it was alright to use my vape in nonsmoking area so I explained it to him and showed how it works he was amazed.He asked if it has any smell to it so I vaped it ,cherry vape ,he said smells ok to him so he said go for it...

I had no complainings in fact I spent more time explaining it than vaping...Some people said it smelled refreshing...

I stayed out of the rear smoking area I couldnt stand the secondary smoke...I couldnt believe that all that smoke would effect me but it did I notice more people smoking were coughing and hacking never noticed that when I smoked..Tried to explain about vaping and how it works,one guy said no way it could replace his reg cigs said he wont give up his 35 years of smoking....I not trying to convert any body ,but I do want to help..
If I have to expose my self publicly when vaping I will eventually do it....

Haven't seen anyone yet and I am the only one at my work that has tried it. The people that I work with are interested in how I am doing but none of the others have taken the leap yet. It is like they don't believe me that I actually like vaping over smoking. I do by the way and like how much better I feel!


I did get a friend to try it and she loves it too!!

The only people I know in RL who vape are a few co-workers who decided to get their own kits after talking with me about my experience.

Haven't seen any others. For me, it is a familiar feeling ... like the one I get from my smart fortwo. Don't see them very often, people ask questions about them, and nearly everyone has misconceptions about them. Same thing with vaping.

She has yet to take the full plunge.

I have 1 convert, 1 who cut their analogue usage in half then went back to mostly ANALouges, and many more when they are ready or have the cash.

Someone start a thread, let's tell when we spot someone with an e cig. I have NEVER seen anyone with one except for the people I've turned on to them.
