Many in my surroundings looks strange at it and asks a lot of questions. They also think it's some kind of funny that I use an e-cigg instead of real analogs since it conatins nicotine and now I'm sick of explaining the other benefits, esapecialy to someone who doesn't want to listen nor understand anyway. Often those with the comments asks if they could try it. And I always let them do :). Since I use 28mg nic liquid and mix 2 different kinds of juices the TH is massive and not one single analog smoker can stand that hit when I tell them to light up the e-cigg 2 seconds before they take a big slow soak on it. I laugh my ... out every time since it looks like they are going to die when the hit comes and they never ever have a stupid comment to throw at me after that. Instead they starts to develop an interest for it so now we are 2 happy vapors with a long analog history at my work and more is for sure to come.)

As for when I go down town I usually don't care if people looks funny and never ever that anybody unknown to me asks what I 'm doing.
On my local pub I'm not allowed to use it inside because the one time I did the owner got a lot of questions from the analogs why I was allowed to smoke and they weren't. The owner who also happens to a friend of mine didn't like to defend me every time and I respect his reason and goes out side...

I'm an avid paddler, so I'm out with different groups of people several times a week. Those are the only people who've asked me about it, w/one exception: I was at an outdoor bar late one night & people kept approaching me to ask for a light. I hated to disappoint them, but appreciated the chance to evangelize a little.

The kayakers just seem to think its weird, but none of them are smokers to begin with. Only one ever expressed interest, & that was because his mom wanted to quit smoking & he thought the e-cig might help.

I have been asked if my PV was some type of pipe, to which I tell them it is a bigger version of an e-cig. Most seem happy with that answer.

A good way to handle those who love to point out that they heard someone had one blow up in their face, is to point out that many people die every year from cig related illness and many people have been pertinently disfigured from falling to sleep with a lit cig in their hand.

I get looks, and questions all the time, and I do carry a couple of spare delrin drip tips with me for those that ask if they can try it.
I always ask if they smoke to begin with, and if they say no, then I inform them this isn't what they want to start into.
For the smokers, I'm happy to let them try it... if I can convert yet another smoker, I'm all for it. I also turn it WAY down (Variable Wattage) so I don't choke them out.
So far I have converted everyone in the shop I work in, and a few of our customers as well.
