I think I've found my forever (for now) setup.
My DIY DNA20 mod (recessed 510 connector)
The connector actually sits about 1/2 way down into the mod
A DiD, or AGA Genesis
DIY e-liquid

My favorite vaping atty are my 510-t's all custom built, on anything that hits 3.7v. Really hard to make they are, ss mesh and ss sponge but they keep blowing out the silicon isolator being that close to the 510 connector..

Geez ... I thought I was the only one on the planet that loves the 510-T atty  Sounds like I set mine up differently than you, but that's the beauty of the 510-T, it's an easy atty to play around with.

I would say that I found my "perfect vape" a long time ago, but I just get caught up in finding different ways to produce it.

    THAT. IS. SEXY!!

I've been using my SID/PT1 & PT2 for about a month and a half now, but its just looking generic to me now..

Next week though, my Pisces T clone will be here :) Already have an I Atty, Kick2, and a pair of 18500's sitting here waiting for it!

Looking at MVP 2 vs Vamo 2-i want longer battery life than what Ego types are giving me(use a 650 and a 900 vv vision spinner) Makes more sense to go to one of these 2 instead of just a higher mah spinner-then who knows what would be next...so i'm content enough but I know there is better out there too. the SID's are also catching my interest too...sigh, oh the choices! I plan on keeping older set-ups too though as long as they work as back ups

If battery life is all you're after; You could duct-tape together 3x eGo batteries and switch your atty between them once one is depleted... and still have more mAh in a smaller package than a Vamo ;)

    ... almost...

I bought an ego t starter kit back in January. I started off using the cone tips , but i always ended up wasting to much juice trying to fill the damn things. Read about how buying a needle would help, which was annoying to me that I had to buy another part just to put my juice in my cig. I moved on to buying tanks...star dust model and some similar to those. They work great for the first few days, but then they always flood. You cant even fill the tank all the way because then you have to unscrew the tank and then use a tissue to clean battery after every two hits. The constant maintenance of these things has driving me to start smoking again. Not having local vape shops or shows makes it difficult to try out new products. Should I maybe switch off the clearomizers or maybe my equipment is outdated? Im a very frustrated ego t vaper right now

My perfect setup is a mix and match group of stuff :D Variety has always been something that makes me vape happy. I don't need new stuff arriving in my mailbox every day any more and I could live with only one APV if I HAD to, but if I could make this trio my "forever setup" I'll be vaping happy forever. :) My ego Twist, Precise ELA, and Hogmod APV's with my 510 attys and Trippy Tips are what makes me happiest :)

When I need the simplicity of grabbing a APV and running out the door knowing I've got what I need to vape with ease for 24 hours I grab my Hogmod bottom feeder with its 18650 battery and 6 ml juice bottle along with a lr 510 atty and need nothing else to be vape happy while I'm away from home. :)

When I want vv vaping my Twist fits my needs. Its feels good in my hand and does its vv job. I've tried a bunch of juice delivery methods and I always go back to the reliable dripping with a 510 atty. :) I own other vv devices but I've found for more then a year now that the Twist gets the most use.

If I was forced to choose only ONE APV to own, it would without a doubt be the Precise ELA. It works flawlessly every time I press the switch and it will likely still be working that well many many years from now. Dripping with a 510 LR atty topped with a Trippy Tip is what you will find me doing most offen at home :)

There is no such easy task with rebuilding a 510-t with ss mesh and ss sponge, it becomes a fantasy vape; how possible so much vapor/flavor from such a small device.. With silica easier build but its vape marginally ok..lol Its the dry burning that make it fail, I get 2-4 months out em and fail. I need an ultrasonic cleaner for them to last me longer, 90vg/10distill gunks really badly..

Since you rebuild 510-t's a heads up--
Blu disposables, take out the battery, flip it upside down, hack in a 510 connector and its awesome. It makes a great long stainless steel cart with a small side port air-hole that helps blow mountains of vapor/flavor. I have two that I made and they have lasted 4 solid performance months. My bro-in law gives me a stack of them to play with, he smokes one per day for 4 months now.. I do use the blu cart in my hack but its impossible to get the flavor out, so I vape tobacco flavors only in them. They sell an awesomely built disposable that us re-builders can make more awesome happen.. Yes 4 months and I have a shopping bag full of more to make mods with but I haven't needed them yet, I cant believe it. I used the two every day last month because I was lovin the vape.. I would have mentioned those but they are hacks off of Blu not my own design I just feed it battery power and adjusted how its air fed one from the bottom the other is factory position and it vapes to hot if not filled full with e liquid.....

I grabbed a handful, theres my 510-t @ 4 months old, its still kik'n doors in, its bros 510-t connectors have been laid to rest on the blu's.. That greensmoke is also a custom build it will annihilate most sub ohm builds. It is a hacked 808d2 cart with ss mesh, not braggin but I have ss mesh, ohms/airhole for wicking speed to a science and really do not need another device but the hobby of it gets me.. Not purdy gear but 100% effective.. I use the greensmoke when out and about, uber stealth and a mighty punch, its battery will last a good 4-6 hours.. You have to enlarge the greensmoke airholes by 2mm then its amazing battery..

no!!!!!!!!! NO I HAVE NOT FOUND IT YET!!!!!!!!

I am sick sick SICK of short battery life, egos that die after 3 months, and ordering from China,,,,,,,,,been waiting over 3 weeks for a Vamo from China (not the vendor's fault,,,,,,,,things happen, this I know, but I've had it),,,,,

and I'm reading a TON about Vamos that have threading problems after a short time,,,,,,,,I want something that works, works well, and will work a year from now,,,,,,,,

I am THIS CLOSE to taking the credit card and ordering a provari NOW,,,,,,,,,

my husband might have a heart attack, but SERIOUSLY, I am so frustrated, I might lose my mind if I have to buy one more over priced ego that dies in 3 months.

Yup. Started out with Mistics...then V2...graduated to a Vamo...then Provari...bought some budget mechanicals...then a Zenesis. Toppers include many Phiniac tanks as well as various budget drippers and a couple each of the RSST and AGA-T2.

Then I found the Reo Grand and RM2 RDA. Pocket friendly, no leaking juice, and 6ml juice capacity. Coupled with an 18650 and micro-coil it lasts me all day. I still occasionally tinker with my other mods but when I leave the house I have one of these in my pocket...and nothing else.

Don't know about "forever", but my daily grab and go is an 18650 powered all brass mechanical sporting an original Protank with P&C cotton wicking & 1.8 ohm coil, and my own DIY juice. At home I tinker with my Vamo V2 and RSST w/DIY ceramic wick, and my KTS Storm is also running a Protank and most days I also bring that along, but day in day out the all brass mech with a Protank at 1.8 wearing cotton wicks is where I am happy and I have no urgent desires to change it. It's good looking, simple, indestructible, hits just fine, and easily lasts all day long on a single battery.

For the last few weeks I've been on a hunt for my perfect device but I can't find it. I was actually thinking about posting this exact thread. I use boge cartos in a tank almost exclusively. I've also come to love a nice carto tank on a kicked mech mod. Especially now that the kick2 goes to 15 watts. I have a magneto and like it quite a bit but its not perfect. I don't have any desire to spend $200 on a mod so I'd like to stay around $100. Though I can't find a mod matching my description I know what I want. I want a dedicated(non-tele) 18500 mod. Something that will take a kick2+18350. Adjustable or floating center pin and air channels in the top cap so I can flush mount my Fluid Flask. And very smooth locking bottom button. If I could find a mod with all these features in my price range I would be in heaven. It seems like mods are either $30 clones or $200+ and highend. There's not much around $100. Since clones have gotten much better I started looking at them. I've been told the Chi You and Nemesis clones have small center pins that block the airflow hole in boge cartos. None of the other clones match my description. So the answer to your question is NO, I have not found my "forever setup" and I'm pulling my hair out looking for it.

I don't have one, so I can't vouch for it, but a lot of people raves about Super T Manufacturing's mods, and they have a very nice mod in that price range (Simplicity, I believe)

Try cartotanks, they are easy to setup and dependable (I have an ibtanked, but there are many options)

    rounding third and heading home...
my absolutely favorite set-up is sitting in front of the computer searching for the next "best" thing out there- got my eye on the futura mod by nexgen. as far as vaping, any of my multitude of devices and toppers in any combination produce lots and lots of vapor so it really doesn't matter- it's all good.......

Like most who buy a REO Grand and Reomizer 2.0 (RM2) rebuildable drip atomizer, particularly those who've previously fallen in love with dripping, I've found it to be my end game. Like most, I bought a backup Grand, with, in my case, three more RM2s to have a backup RDA for each Grand. Each Grand has it's own set of three batteries and charger--backups for backups. That doesn't mean I never use my cartos/tanks or ProTanks on my eVic, or occasionally even an eGo and clearomizer for stealth or nostalgia, but the REOs are just tools I use all day, every day. I no longer care about what else is out there (for me).
