Very happy 0-nic vaper here! Went to 0 within 8 days of starting to vape. It was a strange accident...but I went with it - got through the probably 6 weeks of withdrawal symptoms...found some great juices I love and I'm good. For me its very relaxing and soothing, tastes good and gives me that 'smoking' satisfaction feeling when I blow the vapor out. My 0-nic has plenty of throat hit (many may not realize you can create it with your equipment). I do not intend to quit vaping. It makes me happy! :)

Each and every one of us should be looking to give up the nicotine. One of the things you don't often hear about is the fact that it causes pancreatic cancer. The Swiss made the switch to SNUS and drastically reduced their smoking population and now many of them are coming down with pancreatic cancer instead of lung cancer. Big tobacco stole that idea but instead of making it possible to stop smoking they reduced the nicotine to levels that were insufficient to quit like real SNUS so they endeavored to create a dual addiction in people to squeeze out that extra bit of cash. That's why you may have noticed that before you quit they were practically giving SNUS away in order to get you hooked. This is the same Big Tobacco that now owns BLU. Be glad you got away but do, for your own sake, get the nicotine down to 0 ASAP!

Here is some information that refutes the supposed link to pancreatic cancer...
New Study Documents the Health Effects from Snus Use: Almost Zero

As for me, I'm not even considering giving up nicotine, let alone doing so ASAP.
In fact, I consciously continue to use it even though I'm not addicted to it.

As long as my blood pressure is low and heart healthy...
I consider the potential health benefits to outweigh the slight potential risks.

That is one of the more misinformed post I have seen in some time. You may want to read this

http://rodutobaccotruth.blogspot.com/2011/02/new-study-smokeless-tobacco-is-not.html

You sound much closer to the prohibitionist that run the ANTZ groups then someone involved with harm reduction. First off it's the Swedish, not Swiss, who use snus, and no, snus users are not coming down with pancreatic cancer, and the studies are showing that.

As for big tobacco, the more recent incarnations of american snus, while still not up to Swedish snus, are improving. The latest Skoal and Camel snus actually deliver a good hit of nicotine. It is RJR who is urging smokers to switch to snus and give up the smokes. At least as much as the law allows since they can't truthfully inform the public that smokeless tobacco is significantly less risky then smoking.

Nicotine isn't the problem as far as risk goes, or even tobacco, it's the smoke.

Though I'm not exactly proud to be addicted to nicotine , I don't feel being addicted to it is much or any different than those who are addicted to caffeine.

My intention when I started vaping was to minimize the health risks of how my fix was being delivered . That has been accomplished. With that said, though I do not intend to quit nicotine , I cannot totally rule out the possibility.
