Nice idea Zeroi :)

Quit smoking Tobacco Since: (May 2010)

Used Brand Models: Started with a kr808d-1 kit, then bought a Joye510, eventually bought a Reo. Have other stuff like the Ego, Indulgence, 901 and 801 kits.

Current brand Models: I only use my Reo these days....nothing else comes close in terms of performance.

Best Flavor like: I blend my own juice and also buy exclusively from FreedomsmokeUSA. My favourite juice from them is Hopscotch.

Story: I heard about vaping in early 2009. A friend of mine came back from China with a simple kit. I didn't believe in the hype at first and was very skeptical. However, I had been trying to quit for a long time....tried everything and nothing worked. I was sick of smoking and the effects, especially since I have a baby boy at home. Finally decided to jump the gun and picked up a kr808d-1 kit because it seemed like the easiest kit to learn with. Within 48 hours, I quit smoking and have not looked back!

Thanks Zeroi for the great idea.

Quit Smoking Tobacco Since: 10 March 2011

Used Brand: Started with the most controversial Sxxxxx Hxxxx, then brought BV900 Xtra from Big Vapors and just bought The Monster from Gardiva yesterday.

Currently using both BV900 and The Monster.

Am still looking for the best flavor.

Story: I started vaping without any knowledge nor intention to quit smoking. It just happen when i first saw a kiosk that sell this co called e-cig. and that attracted my attention since i never knew or heard about this device. But the funny thing is i managed to quit smoking tobacco immediately after i bought the device from the kiosk. I used to smoke a pack a day for the past 18 years. Tried so many times to quit but then only lasted 3 days each time. But with this device on hand, i strongly believe it will help and now never looked back again.

Quit Smoking Tobacco since: 9th November 2010

Used Brand: Started on very very cheap starter kit that cost RM45, then bought 510 and Riva. Waiting for arrival of a new mod and on the waiting list for another mod.

Fave flavor: Joint champions .... RY4 & Tab. Don't know why, I just love them.

Story: Almost went back to smoking analogs during the time I had the cheap starter kit. Fortunately, found a local seller that had the 510 for sale. I credit the 510 with having actually completed my switch to vaping. As the 510 batteries don't really last too long on a charge, bought some Riva 1100mah after that. Now, 2 units of Riva 1100mah just about lasts me a day, as I vape about 5 to 6ml every day. I can safely say that I feel better in general since I started vaping and my taste buds have come back to life again. I initially started vaping to quit smoking, but I've since then changed it to being a much healthier substitute for tobacco sticks. Favorite piece of kit......1.5ohm low resistance atomizer or 2.0ohm low resistance cartomizer with any 3.7V high mah battery. Vape on!!!

KUL, MY
Quit smoking tobacco since: a few month back

Used brand: stupid e-cig that doesnt produce vapor T_T -> eGo 1100mAh -> BV900xtra -> altsmoke Omega

Fave flavor: energy cow, dunhill, apple...

Story: First tried my friend's e-cig early this year. Never quite liked it but I thought about my daughter and decided to get one set. Still went back to and fro between analog and e-cig until I met Rizani who suggested the Ego set. Tried that one and wow... thats a lot of vapor so I straight away bought one set and was happy with it. Then when I met Hisyam from BigVapor to buy some juice he showed me the BVxtra which I kinda like since it uses the trustfire 14500 batteries. Bought that unit and sold my Ego for next to nothing XD. Then when I was browsing I came upon the Omega which is purely mechanical and bought it on impulse... and after 2 weeks of painfull waiting the package arrived today... still havent opened it yet because I'm still looking for some batteries to test em out. will get em tomorrow... hehe. I'll post some pics later after I kidnapped my bros camera. :)

Quit smoking Tobacco Since: around 218 days aga... can't remember the date...

Used Brand Models Brands and Models) : Riva (750 MAH) --- > VGO (1300 MAH) ---> diy evercool mod (never look back :) )

Current brand Models: diy evercool

Best Favor like: diy e juice - menthol + grape = i called it menthol grapeness :)

Story: few of my friends bought the Sxxxxx Hxxxx brand and showed it to me. i'm not really impress with those thing and e-cig in general... i thought it was another seasonal gadget ...

few months passed .. wanted to quit smoking because of got new baby in the house, pressure from wife, analog price increase etc .... i thought of doing some research on ecig and found this forum. read a lot of things and found out about ego/riva kits...

at the same time met with prev friends who already quit e-cig and went back to analog (due to failed equipments - you know the quality of those Sxxxxx Hxxxx) .. i thought, WTH , i bought a riva from lelong... and bought 10ml dunhill ejuice ... using catridge at first, it's not the best taste experience but able to slow me down on analog... back and forth ... found another guy who sell CE2 ... see it first hand ... the vapor ... perghhh ... it's a steam locomotive ... bought 1 set of 5 units.... and a menthol e juice... never went back to analog...

oh yes, before quiting analog, i got two box marlboro , courtesy from fren coming from overseas, manage to finish half box... and give it to my in-law... still keep another un-open box with me, just a reminder that at one point in my life, i used to be a 'slave' to that thing, now i'm a master... i have the power not to open that box... :) ..

with enough juice in hand... i think i can survive until next year , and hopefully by that time, i can already quit everything about nicotine for good.

ps : manage to convert several friends to ecig.. and they are very happy with it..

i been an addict for cigarette for over 30 years, started when i was in my late 20's..i am so surprise to be able to kicked my habitual smoking after using e-cig for such a short time...as i did not think i can but with this forum and know-how i can now say i found my nicotine in-take without further damaging my internal organs..god knows how much damaged already incurred..but from now onwards i will rely on my e-cig and hopefully live a little longer to watch next world cup(brazil) and maybe 2018(russia) too..wish everyone happy vaping!

{EDIT} Sorry for barging in on the Malaysia Forum. Guess I better look before posting. :)

Quit smoking Tobacco Since: 03/25/11
Used Brand Models Brands and Models: Ego-T (Cones, cylinders, 510-t, 306...standard/low res versions of both)
Current brand Models: Silver Bullet running at 3.7v with an 18650 battery. Using 2.4 ohm CE2's in a DIY tank.
Best Favor like: Dekang USA Mix (Marlyboro), Dekang Strawberry Explosion, NicFitNation Whistler's Peak, Dekang RY4
Story: I was exposed to smoking from birth. My parents both chainsmoked in the house, car, and wherever acceptable (which in those days was mostly everwhere). I had my first cigarette when I was 8 years old. By age 14 I was a pretty much a pack a day smoker. By age 25, that had developed into a 2 pack a day habit. When I was 28 both my parents died 5 months apart, and both from illnesses where smoking was a major contributing factor. For the last 10 years I have tried many times to quit using different methods. The problem was that although I knew the risks involved with tobacco, I liked smoking too much. Vaping gives me everything I got from smoking WITHOUT the major risks. It was not difficult to switch. The day I got my eGo, was the day I never touched another cigarette. The Silver Bullet was a treat to myself. Loving it.

Quit smoking Tobacco Since: (31/07/2011)
Used Brand Models Brands and Models:Semoker havent compact version i hate u so much
Current brand Models: (KGO BV 1100Mah)
Best Favor like: (Blue energy Bull Cow)

Story: Well, it all starter somewhere, early this year. Father bought the compact version of Smongker Havent. Kindda impress with it at first. Then slowly I feel it is expensive compare to normal analogs. Imagine spending rm15 for 2 cartridge which only lasted me for, less then 32 hours. sometimes I consumed 2 cartridges in 1 whole day. Even worst is the battery which is super short life...urgh! back to analogs after 1 months plus using it with lots of $$$ spend on it!

then one day i was browsing the internet and i found people whos selling this, clear cartomizer... curiously, i did my R&D...wow i was surprised how things have changed! This is the replacement i was looking for!

so far i have not touch any analogs eversince i found my KGO. I am in a midst of R&D on minimizing my expenditure. Need to learn on DIY E-juice and changing the wick and the coil....at the moment im eyeing for box mods VV...too bad i dont have (i will never ever wanna have) credit card...urgh!

was wondering is there is a clear cartomizer which doesnt use wick...haihhhh i hate periodically maintenance...

now am hooked with 12mg Nic. By 2 more months im planning to go down to 6...and by end of this year 0mg nic...

overall, im glad to found dis forum, kick off my 15 years of chain smoking habit (bye so long dunhill) and start vaping.

vaping rox!
