Just checked FT, and the ETA was already pushed out again to 5/20. So at least another 16 days if it doesn't push out again.

I guess I probably will have the Pulse before the Aurora at this point.

Yes you probably will. I do not think Hcgar knew how many pre-orders would go on these. There inbox was very popular,ths is in different form an inbox,they should have anticipated a lot of sales.

EDIT: Also have to remember pre-orders are something you put in the back of your mind and forget about until you get it.

Yeah, I've never done well with the whole pre-order thing. And the last two things I REALLY want (Pulse and Aurora) are both pre-order. On top of that, the darn slow boat trip once they are released.

Usually I only order from FT when I don't care about it coming or don't need it right away, so no problems.

I'll be optimistic that it will arrive earlier than anticipated. Then if it does, it will probably get lost on the slow boat, lol.

At least I can still have a sense of humor about it.

I also got a Capo that leaked badly. The replacement sent also leaked.
Fortunately it was a pre-order, so only wasted $28.

Unlike iJoy, I think Hcigar is capable of putting out a good squonker. They did an excellent job with the VTInbox, and their mech squonker (the Magic Box) is decent, although aesthetically unappealing to my eye. I have seen reviews of the Hcigar Towis which presumably has the same board as the Aurora that speak to decent performance.

That being said, I cancelled my pre-order for the Aurora. I got a DNA250C a few weeks ago and have been loving the Replay function so much that I just had to pick up a couple more 250Cs and a couple of 75Cs. Totally blew my vape budget for a while, so the Aurura had to be sacrificed in the short term.

Good news, I'll be trying this on my Therion BF one of these weekends, but I've never even installed Escribe, so I've got a bit of a learning curve.

I don't mess with TC personally, but interested in trying Replay as a safeguard against burning my cotton if I forget to squonk. Not really been an issue except for at night when I wake up and want a quick vape. Currently, I put the squonk away and take an RDTA to bed with me.

TC is all I use because I run SS builds all the time. I was just curious about how it worked. Right now I have my VT75D with my Engine on top with 26g kanthal to try something. And I do have eplay running on a kanthal build right now. I am not sure how long it will stay in replay mode though? For the vapers that have/had a problem with TC,replay is something I think they will enjoy.

Replay will stay engaged until stopped, even through a battery change.

That battery rattle will annoy me, and I've been spoiled by how well the doors fit on the Pulse 80w.

Looking forward to this though, chip seems like it's a solid platform.

It's the same chip from the Towis,and Warwolf mods. I can't wait to receive mine now. Thinking about getting a second one in silver.
