I'm sure the Shenray is awesome too [emoji3] Since I use it for my all day vape, only open it every 3 days (wick or coil change), keep the airflow set one way (wide open), a very tight fit works for me.
Yeah, same here,i may still get the Sxk too,i have another rda made by them, and it's a nice one.The tight top kinda scared me away at first because i have a Narda clone that is horribly tight, not sure who it's made by,but after a days use,you have to pry the cap off haha.

I recoiled two days ago. With it sitting on the mod a reasonable twist (not crazy hard), as if screwing the tank onto the mod and it came right off.

Tolerances are tight, if you don't put the cap on straight you'll get a little shaving of one or both o-rings. I wipe the edge with a tissue to pick up any chaff, rewet the rings, before putting the cap back on. It's easier to "undershoot" the alignment a little when you put the cap on, then once it's seated twist it whatever fraction is needed to line up the air holes.

I just saw a recommended change on the orings, one size smaller thickness, ordered a pack of 20.

I hadn't seen the o-ring swap mentioned, but i did see a few people saying they just removed the lower o-ring and that helped,so good to know there are a few options to remedy it.I'll probably throw one in my next Ft cart.Which size o-rings did you order?

What resistance did you get with the case analyser? I have been looking for some settings for this, but haven't found any yet.
Thanks (and back to lurking :))

Case analyzer just does the thermal properties, which I find helps but imo internal resistance is much more important. I can't check it now bc of the new wires but I remember it was very high. If you end up getting enough dna devices, the little copper plug does come in handy, but you can always short out the 510 and get the same results. For some reason very few of the Chinese companies set internal resistance or run case analyzer. Which irks me... whatever but come on all they had to do was run it on one device, and plug those numbers in every one after that.
The plastic is countersunk if that's what you mean. Don't have anything to measure with but it looks between 1-2mm, same as the outer edge of the black cb panel.

Here's a few pics that might show it better if I'm understanding what your looking for.

Also, if you don't mind to reply or pm and let me know how you got the black plastic piece out. I removed the four screws but couldn't get it out so didn't go any further with it.View attachment 632905 View attachment 632907
Cool thanks that helped a lot, yeah some of my new wiring was keeping me from pushing all the way down. As to your question, I'm pretty sure the screws were it, the 510 assemble has to come loose and then i remember it did take some pulling to get it free though, that bit is in there very tight. Sorry I'm not so good on short term memory... If you can't tell :/

Edit, Btw did you shrink wrap that batt yourself? If so what'd you use? I've been wanting to do that to a few of my Samsungs that've gotten chewed up somehow.

$0.80 Silicone O-Ring Seals for Atomizer (20-Pack) 20-pack - 18mm*16mm*1.0mm(OD*ID*W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping is what was mentioned in the FT SXK Hadaly Discussion thread on o-rings. It sounds like the original rings are one size thicker. If they work I'll definitely have extras :)

Thanks for the info. I may try getting it out again if the mood strikes. Really I'm just curious how they clamped the tube in so tight it can't be removed. Hasn't been prob though, I flush it every so often and it still looks new.

I wrapped the batt using a bic lighter, probably not the best method but keeping the flame moving and far enough away it just heats up enough to form around the battery works. The wrap is from FastTech, sku 2155602, comes in a 50 pack. The battery in the pic is a LG HE4 yellow and they are just about the perfect length.

Sweet, you think a hair dryer would get hat enough?

word. I'll give those blue ones a go. need to order some more clapton wire anyways.

Which battery is longer, LG HE4 or Samsung 25r?

I don't have a 25r to compare but they should be the same or very close. I don't think you'll have an issue with any unprotected battery.

I replaced my tube right away. Was cut far too short. It's wedged in there between the tip and body. Used a flathead to get a bit of it un-wedged then just pulled.

Nice, thanks for the info. Any idea what size tubing it is?

Anyone else hate the magnet door design? About every 4th press on the bottle ends up with the door coming off attached to my thumb. Really should have much stronger magnets or a sliding, secure door. I really want to like this but the door with the hole for squonking is forcing this box to gather dust.

I like the design, could use stronger magnets though. I lift the door occasionally but once I remove my thumb the door pulls back into place. I've found pushing straight in rather than at an angle keeps the door from moving.

I had heard about people popping the door off when they squonk but as I said my magnets are really strong. i have tack one if that helps. I like the inbox but due to a few things about it like not having a proper seal on the bottle I'm afraid to leave it on its side. so I just use mine in the house.

if you're feeling spendy and want to try a different one, this is my all day every day squonk mod. it has a super short and easy to clean squonking assembly, 15ml soft bottle with threads, a cap and seal, and easy squonking action without having to move your hand. makes it very easy to just squonk and vape.

not saying there is anything wrong with the inbox but I prefer to use this one away from home (therion bf)

The bottle connection design is one of the best I've seen for a squonker. The friction fit seals tightly and makes refilling extremely easy. If the seal doesn't seat in any squonk system then you really won't be able to squonk. Also the lip the bottom of the bottle rests on internally assures the bottle is installed correctly.

And why would you leave it on its side?

You sure you have an inbox?

def. not the best by any comparison. its just an open bottle that you push up over a tube that drips all over and theres always some condensation near the top. & it would be on its side in my pocket, car seat etc.
