Yes, way. There are successful business people who actually have principles. I gladly pay more to have number of things like circuit boards, connector pins, and injection molded plastic parts custom made here in the USA than they would cost if I had 'em made in China. I've been doing that for almost 20 years now. How is this possible? I own 100% of my business outright. It has no debt, so I answer to no one. There's no board of directors or shareholders demanding that I squeeze an additional $5 or $10 of profit out of each item I sell by going with low cost, off-shore suppliers.

I enjoyed the most important part of the book. The punctuation. They should have just printed that part.

She is also probably the reason why the double space after like, the period has been REMOVED due to printing costs, and that is an UNARGUABLE sin.

Yes, it was an unnecessarily llllooooonnnng read. And I'd never call it great literature. But amazingly accurate & prophetic in lampooning socialism, tax & spend liberalism, etc. I wonder if it would've gotten all that attention, though, if it wasn't such a friggin' tome.

And I'm with you on the double space! I insist on it in every email & item published in my company. Employees think I'm nuts for caring. But then, almost nobody even cares about proper plural/possessive anymore. My current favorite is applicants telling me they want to be apart of the company. I let them.

People are freaking out over The vaping Madness . If the FDA *really* feels the need to open their pie holes, why not issue a common sense PSA? Black market vape products are dangerous M'kay. Purchase your products from reputable, safe vendors.

Because of the Big-Tobacco, Big-Pharma influence, anti-vaping hysteria, and special interests.

Countries with common sense, already embrace e-cigs as an alternative to smoking.

Also, there are some over-the-shelf green-stuff products that apparently contained Vit-E. So....define "safe vendor".

Probably that there's good, honest, enlightening discourse about the subject for a while, by people that also have some fun. So it's not a totally dry, humorless place to hang out. The way I look at it, some of these threads run their course. But a thread with a topical news subject, like this one, has a short shelf life. If the first half dozen pages fill quickly with real info, then stays off topic, well....it's served its purpose, so just have fun with it. If it's important, and people care, it'll find its way back on topic. If not, the thread dies. In a few days (if that long), nobody'll care what Durbin said.

But in general, I'm definitely with you on staying on topic. At least for vape specific info, like equipment, diy juice, flavorings, the Deeming or 5/11 thread, that sort of thing. For political posts about current event things like this? It's just an opportunity for everyone to pontificate anyway, and there are usually only a few new, really good insights.

I can't, I can't define a "trusted vendor" other than that I have used them before, the transaction went well and I remained vertical after using the product. Why do we call certain battery vendors "reputable" or "trusted"? I do it because I read on here that a certain vendor is safe or reputable. I don't know "safe" from "shinola", I don't even have a clue, I just read certain vendors are trusted and safe while others not so much.

Having said that, my entire vaping existence is built upon blind irrational faith in ECF members and very little more.

To be even more off topic (but this is my first thread of the day) I went without my Seroquel for like 18 hours. I made the mistake of like, thinking a CVS pharmacy would be open til 9 pm at LEAST on a Saturday evening.

Not so.

I used to didn't want to be raptured. I wanted to stick around and see what happened. I have changed my mind on that. The med stuff is TOO awful. I am going to need to raptured and I need a week's notice like, so I can smoke cigarettes and other stuff that is NOT oil, l like my green to be clean.

BUT ALSO on the way back I saw a church SHUTTLE. Yes! They come pick you up for services! I am afraid my first thought was, "OMG the only way OUT is to flee on FOOT."

So, I'm not going to be raptured and that means SOCIETY BEHAVE YOURSELF.

I slept through most of it. I did some sleepwalking. Thankfully, no sleep calling because in Seroquel withdrawal I usually call my loved ones and tell them I hate them and I get SPECIFIC.
