I love this thread! A little over a week vaping now and I already feel so much better. I was able to throw away the cigarettes after the first day and just the smell disgusts me everytime I smell it. vaping is truly a godsend and I would wish it upon even my worst enemies. I love this and I love how I feel.

How you vape is how you vape, there is no "right" way. My wife takes shorter pulls (4 secondish), I go for long ones because that's how I smoked.

Generally people take long slow pulls into the mouth, then a short inhale. This gets you large plumes of vapour and a deeper flavour. Some people pull in directly with their lungs. Some people use higher voltages and get similar results from shorter pulls.

I also find that it takes a moment for the coils to heat up completely, so a short pull won't get much of anything but an extra second or two makes a big difference.

If a feed has a tighter draw it takes longer to get the vapour.

Everyone vapes differently, to see if you think it's necessary try it yourself.

Regarding mentholated liquid, you CAN always get a small (10ml) bottle of menthol and add 1+ drops per ml to mentholate any flavour you already have. I mix my own flavours and haven't bought any premixed menthols, but have the concentrate to add to anything I mix.

In less than 2 months vaping, the side effects that I have noticed are:
1)I have not more smokers cough...at all
2)I stay up later at night, and wake up at the same time every day feeling more energized than I ever had (that is one thing that I never read about)
3)Nic fits are less intense than when I smoked
4)The wife doesn't complain about me smelling like smoke
I have always been active and not had too many issues breathing when doing strenuous activity. I have not noticed a difference in this category, but like I said, I never really had this problem to begin with unless I went on a 30+ minute run.

RBAs are a different beast, my advice is to have a backup standard feed (carto/clearo/atomizer) while working out how to get the RBA working.
Rebuildable Atomizer Systems
While there may not be info on that specific one, the idea behind them is the same (wick & coil). There's really too much to put into one post and folks there will have a lot more experience to help with any issues.

Other advice is to buy more wick and coil, and different types (to avoid multiple shipping fees), than you think you need. It takes time, patience, trial and error. Most likely more errors at first.

Brings up a good point. Once you get all of the other crap out of your system, nic fits are almost nothing compared to what they used to be. No cig for a few hours and I used to want to find a baby to throw...now if I haven't vaped in a few hours I just want to lightly shake a baby :)

Hi, gatag...I've been vaping for over 18 months now without even one cig. For the first couple weeks I really missed them because the whole e-cig thing was so new to me and I was still trying to find juices I could deal with, equipment, etc. But this far away from tobacco cigs, I would never, ever go back. I'm 55 and smoked for about 35 years...after about 2 months of vaping I noticed my smoker's cough was gone and my throat didn't feel raw anymore when I first woke up. After about 4 or 5 months I noticed I could take deeper breaths than I've been able to for years and that I could walk and ride my bike much further without getting winded. Living in Florida, the humidity is always pretty high for about 8 months out of the year, and it would really take the wind out of my sails. Not any more. I've also noticed this past spring and summer that I didn't have anywhere near the sinus issues I've had the past few years from pollen and stuff. My6 blood pressure even returned to a more normal range. I was thrilled.

Dude, my only complaint is that it was a good six months into my vaping experience before I found this site. I would have saved a ton of cash experimenting and from not buying crap gear, and would have been more comfortable with the experience from the get-go had I found it earlier! :) The health will begin to return to normal (at least as much as it can) after awhile, believe me. In the mean time, you did good by waving bye-bye to the tobacco.

The biggest difference for me is been ( except the fact that i can breath better off course ) even only after 5 days of just vaping and not analogues my heart rate . Before it would get up even only after few stairs , now not.
Yesterday i ve been gardening for over one hour and going up and down a ladder etc . My heart rate was normal .
And when i say normal i mean just light variations . I been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks before so im used to monitor my heart even now that all of that problem is gone , and i was pleasantly surprised to see that. Off course it goes up when u have a jog but again thats normal . Just my two cents .

I've been vaping without analogues for 5 months now due to COPD. i can breathe so much better, and my chest feels clearer. i have to check in the hospital one day out of every month to take a IV injection and the nurse always asked me if i wanted oxygen because my oxygen level was 89%SpO2...after vaping for only a couple months I noticed the numbrers climbing and I'm now at 97%SpO2 and i feel awesome. Only problem I've had vaping was I found out I was allergic to PG (my feet swelled up like baloons). I've since switched to 100%VG organic and everythings great now! Hang in there and best of luck vaping, like he said if I can do it, anyone can!
