Is this normal now? I have not ordered in months so I've been kind out of the loop.

Maybe has something to do with it being Chinese New Year? I think most stuff is shut down for a week/two.

I had a similar problem with an order from Eastmall - USPS still shows it in US Customs, but the little pink slip that it was in my local PO arrived last Saturday (and I haven't been able to pick it up before or after work this week).

I had an order from Deal Extreme already arrive that I ordered weeks after my Heaven Gifts order. I wonder if they've been flagged. Why it would go to NY when I'm in CA is beyond me.

Then I have another order from them I placed the next day that only just now showed up in the tracking that it's been accepted and preparing for shipment, showing the 12th. I also have an order from Health Cabin that hasn't updated in 2 weeks.

Even getting orders in well before the holiday cutoff, it's pretty hit or miss when they're shipping.

I have seen several reports of personal orders being seized in customs. Hope that this is not the case for you guys.

Can't be anything with Chinese holiday, it's in the US Customs hands now. I just received an order yesterday from them, was in Customs less than 24 hours.

Sorry I can't explain it, but I just ordered from heaven gifts the 11 feb and I received my package the 17th, very fast shipping but I'm in Canada too, it went from Taiwan to Shangai to Vancouver and finally Quebec.

The ones talking about the orders taking so long, which shipping method did you choose? It looks like you used the registered airmail, which can take up to a full month to get to you. I have no idea why they call it airmail and it takes so long. I affectionately call it the Slow Boat method. For the ones that are just saying

This is not a customs issue. If it was in customs it would say in customs. I order using the Slow Boat a couple times a month from Heaven Gifts. I usually have my order in 7-8 days after it hits NY. This time, there is a National Holiday in the US, Presidents Day, so that will slow it down a day. I fully expect to receive it either Friday or Saturday but I won't be surprised if it takes a few days longer.

New York is the worst place it can end up. Mine sat there for like ever. It was released unopened and delivered the next day but I did get a bit paranoid.

Like you, I've had a couple of packages hit NY Customs and they went in and out, not opened in less than 24 hours. I had one order from the same place for some reason go thru San Francisco. It hit customs and was there for three days before they released it, unopened. Go figure.

This is exactly what my order says, too...I used the "slow boat" shipping for the first time. It's now been 10 days in NY; just hope everything is OK and it comes tomorrow.

I'm in the import export buisness, yes chinese new year this year only 2 weeks off instead of 4. So this delays all imports. Whish we got that much time off

Well, since all of my orders were placed well before the holiday started that doesn't quite explain the delay.. It also doesn't really explain why our packages have been held up for 10 days in NY.

All my orders have come in in under 10 days, but I have heard of it taking up to 30 days. Also, it says Inbound to Arrival, it may be that Customs didn't scan the number in or out. Some locations never scan the tracking number. I've had orders in my hand and the tracking number not even register that it's in my state.

My package is still sitting in Canadian customs, its been over 2 weeks. What bugs me is it took only 4 days to get to customs, and they've had it in their clutches for so long My supplier figures it has been stopped and is trying another shipment.
