Hey guys. So I've started getting that heavy breathing feeling analog smokers get. This started after getting the subtank nano and running the 1.2 coils with 18mg nic in my juice. I believe the juice I buy is 50/50 pg/vg. What is most likely the cause of this heavy feeling?
if it is the nic level what should I drop it too? I'm running 18mg juice cuz that is what I ran in my nauty and am killing the rest of it first.

Not sure if its from nic for me, but if I chain vape for good 4-5 full lung hits, I get that heavy feeling for 3-4 deep breaths of air afterwards. Methinks its just due to vapor flood, but it might be something different from the topic. Been smoking a few years as well and I've never experience any shortness of breath any more than my natural low capacity.

I started getting that feeling after 2 years because I changed from a normal puff to lung hits. The lung hits are so awesome I can't get the same vape from normal hits on my big Buddha tank.
I think The tank is designed that way. I also opened up the air intake holes and the insulator and got great airflow which made lung hits a must on the tank. My ADV is always in the Buddha but at night I change to a higher nic through my kayfun 3.1 and this gives my lungs a wee rest.
To be honest I don't think lung hits are the most sensible course of vaping but it is just so awesome I don't think I'll stop doing it.
I personally am down to 6 mg on the Buddha during the day and then back to 10 mg at night with the kayfun but I'll be aiming for no nic on both before the years out.
I think that doing lung hits will be damaging your lungs regardless of the nic anyway.
Listen to your body. Its never going to complain if there is nothing to complain about
