Im guessing though itll be more about the juice i choose than it will the e-cig.
There seems to be a pretty great variety in juice. But there is just as much variety in PVs. A 510 is a great way to get started, IMHO, since they give excellent throat and plenty of vapor.

The higher-nic stuff usually seems to be generally harsher from what i've gathered. I'm vaping 26mg and i find it to be substantially harsher than my previous "choice" of Pall Malls.

PG will also make it harsh. I've vaped 36mg VG juice and it was alot smoother than even 18mg PG.

Thanks, that's great to know. I wanted to go VG all the way anyway. My current stash is all VG, but i think i went just a little over what i should have with the nic content. Still learning.

I'd say order an ego/riva/hello16 now. And make sure to check the supplier forum to see what sales are running when you're ready to order, then check for coupon codes.

If it were me and I was doing it all over, I'd start exactly where I did... an eGo kit and a bunch of random flavors. Shop around, but don't hesitate too long! ;)

I didn't smoke menthol but am loving a menthol juice I just rec'd as a sample - it's got a nice hard TH and big flavor. (Goodprophets.com) I certainly never smoked pina colada, but freedomsmokeusa has an addictive (uh) version that I love. You just never know what's going to float your boat.

I'd definitely recommend RY4 or Wyatt Earp from freedomsmokeusa.com - big, hearty flavor there, and you can get it in 30 or 36mg.

Have fun and good luck!

ETA: Thanks to my eGo I quit the day I rec'd it. I had one drag the 1st night, hated it in comparison, and 26years of almost/at/over a PAD was done. My husband continued to smoke one or two a day for about 4 or 5 days, but now he's quit completely as well. :)

Im pretty much sold on the tw 510. I appreciate the suggestions but the way that one looks and things that have been said. That one "feels" right. And if it isnt ill try again =) And then theres a johnson valley sampler pack as described in the video. Pricey at 40 dollars. But theres alot there and tools that will be useful for refilling carts.

Can someone point me into the right direction? I would like something similar to the flavor of Kool 100's or camel turkish jades if anyone remembers those. *sigh* I miss those...so cheap so delicious! Anyhow. Any advice or suggestions on where to look for somethin reasonably cheap? Id like to order online with a visa debit card too. Thanks for your time guys.

I used to smoke Parliament Menthols FF and I had a hard time finding a menthol vape I liked that was close to that flavor. I found that one drop of spearmint, one of usa mix, and one drop of turkish blended was as close as I was gonna get. I also really like the basic Big Chill from cignot. To me its like a menthol slurpee.

Lyms, I too got my Joye 510 from cignot.com. Great folks to work with. As far as the menthol part, I was smoking Salem Ultra Lights 100's. I got some juice that was supposed to be like Salems. Oh my goodness it was NASTY. I settled on the menthol that cignot has and I like it! Just the regular menthol....you may want to get 26 mg's of nicotine to start. I ordered a 26 and an 18. I'm pretty much on the 18, now. You can get some 0 mg's and mix it, too.

I wish you well in your endeavor! The e-cig got me off of tobacco.:)

Thank you very much for the support. Anyone got a link to these Joye 510's? Just to take a look and see if its more cost effective.

Joye 510 NO BOX

It may be cost effective in the short run, but if you consider the 1 year warranty on ALL parts through greenhouseone.com on the eGo, it really isn't. That is unheard of, and the eGo is far supperior, for less than $20 more. You'll be replacing more than that in attys on the 510, with no similar warranty. Let alone batts(typically last 4 months or so). But go for what works for you!:vapor:

I started with the kit linked above (still use that supplier as well) and the regular 510 is a nifty thing, very light (in comparison other PV, its heavier than a cig) and about the same dimensions as a pen. The main drawback with it is the battery life - otherwise its a wonderful PV.
People are recommending hte eGo (aka by other companies as a Riva or Hello or w/e TW call theirs lol) because it has a MUCH better battery life; they arent trying to sell you one btw - suppliers aren't allowed in this part of the forum EVER.
Once I got into vaping I was changing my reg 510 batts about every half hour - although i was hitting it hard lol. Some people who use it very sparingly get a lot longer, but generally you need to use a PV more often to get the same nic hit as a cig.
The eGo btw has the same dimensions as an AA battery without its atomizer attached. With it, its that width but the length of a pen.
I wish I could help you with flavors but you'll find thats a very subjective area, as is nicotine strength. When you DO decide on a model etc I suggest you buy a couple of small bottles of juice at different nci strengths as everyone finds their own personal level that helps them not crave cigs.

Battery life is going to be very important. I like to smoke pretty much non stop. Because i simply like the act of smoking. So i think a simulation of it i.e. e-cig will work well with me. I can gradually lower myself on the nicotine levels until im off it altogether and just enjoy vapeing for the flavors itself and not the content. Im not worried about flavos. Im going to order a sampler pack type thing. And since i work with computers i can manage with a passthrough for the tw version.

Huh. Well thanks for being so stubborn on me guys ^.^ I was browsing around cignot. Saw the whole shebang. pcc, usb charger, 2 complete e-cigs and lots more for 65. Free shipping, and they dont charge my usual state tax! Since you all are speaking so highly of these ego's ill take this route. It is definitely worth it in comparison to the tw one.

That is a 510 PCC kit, not an eGo. Just wasn't sure from your post if you were clear on that.

Get the no-box version and the pcc separately if you're getting it from Cignot, it'll save you like $2.

Feh, it's only two bucks anyway. What's important is:
GO LYMSLEIA!

Enjoy a fun new experience and a whole new way of living!

Kinda irritating. Cignot doesnt list what type of shipping they have. It just says usps. So im assuming its the flat rate shipping but the tracking number doesnt even show an estimated delivery. Since its friday now...im going to assume monday or tuesday *grumbles*

They have a shipping upgrades link, i think on the left, for the next time you order supplies.

USPS rarely updates their tracking info fast enough to make any difference - you usually get your package the same day that tracking info appears, if it does by then at all.

But don't worry, i've heard from many people that their shipping is the fastest. I ordered mine last Saturday and got the package on Monday. No idea how that's even possible, but there ya go.
