Hi all. I'm Melissa in Evansville. Love my 510 but I don't have a clue what a box mod is and don't care to learn. Mechanical/electronic/techno stuff scares and bewilders me, unless it happens to be a kitchen gadget. Just an old dinosaur, I guess. Maybe I've postponed my extinction date...by vaping on my 510?

I did a short stint in the Warsaw/Winona Lake area. I really love the whole state. I've lived in St. Louis, Denver, and Irving TX, but I'm a Hoosier at heart and just wanted to come HOME. There's another guy on the forum from Evansville but I can't for the life of me remember his name. I'll try to find him. I've never seen another vaper in this town. We have a restaurant smoking ban, but I so rarely eat out I don't even know how management and customers would react to vaping. I did have a desk clerk at a hotel threaten to fine me $100 for vaping in the lobby. I'm usually an in-your-face confrontational type, but I wasn't in the mood to try to fix stupid, so I let it slide. Crazy thing was we were checking into a smoking room. You'd think the ditz would've noticed the blue led and lack of stink. Sheesh.

I'm a Johnson Creek juice addict. I've tried other stuff but threw it in the trash cuz I found it nasty. My grandkids LOVE the clove-and-cinnamon smell of JC Marcado vapor.

I'm glad you started this group. We might be a little backwards here in Suth'n Indiana, but we're not Neanderthals. I just started attending a small church in Henderson KY, and as luck (or Providence) would have it, the pastor is a respiratory therapist. He'd never heard of an e-cig.

Then moved out to Avon, IN! Married for 21 years and have 2 daughters:) I work for local government and they went smokefree about 4 years ago.

I have smoked for 22 years, VS light 120's, and have quit a few times, the longest during my second pregnancy...This time I quit on March 22, 2010, then slipped around my 5th and 6th week with a couple of analogs in those weeks...:( so, I started looking into other things, and happened upon e cigs.

I came here and gained way too much info and talked my hubby who had quit with me, but is now back to 5 smokes a day, into trying these. Our 510 from cignot arrived today, and I must say, I don't know if I expected too much or have not given it enough time (it's only been a few hours).....I am just kinda in a weird place with this right now? Maybe it's because I am still learning that I don't feel confident in it at the moment. But, I am still giving it a good ole try.

Nice to meet all of you and I look forward to learning more about this new world...Oh, and I am totally flipped out that I am so close to that Indy Vapor.....I ordered my pv from cignot and vapors4life, got some juice, but I will definitely check them out!

That was uncalled for Kobudo. At least I tracked you down. Then you wanted me to post a link... I don't even know what a box mod IS! AND DON'T TELL ME! You can come over and show me when you're done. If I want one you can build it for me and I'll smoke you a turkey or a couple slabs of ribs. :toast:

Curlygirl I just posted on your other thread and told you to come find us, but you already had. Of course I didn't even try to post a link. WELCOME! I was a little flustered at first too. It just tasted and smelled SOO GOOD, and it was my ticket out of Stinkyville. I was determined. I also started out with LOTS of attys and batteries and flavors for experimenting. With a 3 1/2-pack-a-day habit I figured I had the money. Ask questions and share troubles. There's tons of help around at any given time. I've never met a neater bunch of online friends and family.

Sure thing! Mmm ribs... Some people like the tech and some don't, just like if I tried to cook my own ribs I would undoubtedly wind up with a mess that looked a lot like charcoal with rib bones in it. I'll post a pic when I'm done building it, and if you want one I can make you one. I'll even set it up so you can screw your 510 attys onto it and use them. I really need to make sure I can get one working first, though...

was Hoosier that helped me find my way here as well :).

I have had a few bad experiences with mb's.......there are some really creepy folks out there.....mean ones too! So, I was a little apprehensive about sharing too much info about myself, but the Hoosier in me crept through.

I am excited to continue to learn through this forum and continue to read about e cigs! I think I have expected too much, cause I kinda did things backwords. I already gave up analogs a few months ago.....I wanted the ecigs for my relaxation and a small part for the nic urge....but I am only using the low nic and 0mg too....

Nice to meet ya'll:2cool:

and I want to get over to Indy Vapor (just a short 15 minute drive for me).....it's over by the 500 and being the month of May and that their hours are a little hokie, it might take abit of planning! But that is really :2cool: that there is an actual store so close to me!

Indy vapor? How are their prices on juices? Do they have a website? would love to get juice next day and pay first class prices. I am dying for some maple cream like yesterday.
