and I want to get over to Indy Vapor (just a short 15 minute drive for me).....it's over by the 500 and being the month of May and that their hours are a little hokie, it might take abit of planning! But that is really :2cool: that there is an actual store so close to me!

Just made an order from Indy Vapor. Hope they are fast and good quality. Ordered marlboro and new england maple tobacco. I'll let you all know how it tastes.

Hoosier....WHY????? Or maybe you're just pullin' my leg. Or maybe you did it on a dare.

Kobudo, I saw the box mod and all the praises. It looks really scary, like Hoosier's "necklace." Maybe with the airbrush...Hey if it would last a whole day without juggling all those darned batteries between chargers it might be worth a try. I just ordered two new pink 510 attys. Any ideas for something that would go with that? Pink lungs maybe?:D "I vape, therefore I'm pink." Until they do my autopsy and find out different, I can lie.

Ummmm, it's something I do with a group of friends. We dress up like characters out of Mel Brooks' movies and put on a skit in front of thousands every year.

And the chain is actually much lower weight than it looks, but looks good due to airbrushing. It is made out of a hard styrofoam. (Lost one of the adjustment screws on my airbrush just after this picture and keep forgetting to get a replacement.)

This year is a different movie and our most outrageous skit yet. We have the backflips down and that is just the start.

Well, I'm nosy, what kind of event are you doing these skits for? Sounds like a lot of fun.

Gen Con.

It is fun. Big family event for this household. I ask my boys every year if they want birthday presents or a 4 day badge to Gen Con and it is always the badge.

There is usually a few news cameras there and sometimes they paint us in a positive light in the telecast.

Yeeeeeah, GenCon FTW!!! Used to be a big MTG player, totally feel ya' on the GenCon badges. :)

Anyways, I'm Josh, 25 years old, never married, no kids, going to Ivy Tech to get my RN, and my primary extracurricular preoccupation is working out.

Started vaping a month ago (to this date, actually...Today's my 1 month anniversary of being analog-free and loving every last vape of it!), and have been rapidly immersing myself into vaping culture and the fun that is educating others about what it is I'm doing. Even my mom wants a VK! :)

Anyhow, I was wondering if they had a group from Indiana here...And now I'm here!! Nice to meet you all!! :D

I can paint one any shade of pink you'd want ;) And I just went two whole days on one battery, with plenty to spare... though it was starting to feel like the voltage was dropping (less heat and throat hit) so I swapped 'em out.

I just thought I would give ya'll a quick update. My husband and I made our way over to Indy Vapor. What an incredibly nice group of folks over there. Extremely helpful and learned.

I picked up 2 more 510 kits from him, so I had more batteries and atty's and some juice. My hubby is all about sticking with the Marlboro taste equivalent to his Marlboro light 100's, and by golly I think he has found it there....12mg and he really enjoyed it. Now, my husband is battling abit of a cold, so we will see when that clears up.

Mike provided us with free samples too. I didn't want to appear greedy, but he was like, take em and try em. So, I took the RY something or other and a maple hint.....LOVE THEM. So, on my next trip there...I know what I will be ordering. :vapor:

I was appreciative of his time and patience.....there are some nice folks in Indiana:p And I wasn't "scared" of you Hoosier...LOL...

Welcome To The Only Vapor Shop In Indianapolis And Central Indiana.......

I am probably going to be heading out there tomorrow or the early part of next week to pick up an Ego. I would like to go to the track tomorrow for pole day but if not I will defiantly be going at least 3 times throughout next week so I might as well stop by the shop and do my shopping.

His hours are just Monday - Thursday. He runs a coin shop out of the same building and he is gone Friday - Sunday doing business for that.

But, I think I am having mixed feelings about this new habit. Although it has curbed my "mental cravings" for analogs, it seems I have quickly realized how this could be a new addiction. Heck, within just a few days I have spent around 200.00.....and am having to listen to some crap from a few folks.

I hear how this is bad for me too. How I had no nicotine in my body and now I do slightly again (just mix 0 nic and have 6mg sometimes too) and I must admit, I find the refilling of juice a complete drag, no pun intended:p

On the pro side, my kids like it that everything (car and sunroom and me) don't smell like smoke and that they don't have to smell the analogs, cause even though hubby is still smoking analogs, it's only like 4 a day, and not around them.

I am gonna think it over, but I may get ready and sell all this stuff I just got and move along....I think it is a great tool for those who want to quit analogs, but I either need to be a smoker or not and I haven't been for a few months....so it seems that I may be a non smoker all together.

Any grand words of wisdom or is anyone interested in purchasing pratically brand new 510's, 3 complete kits and some juices? Woe is me....:(

Well, if you can do without entirely, then good for you! I am personally just fine spending less than $40 a month to maintain my vaping, where I was spending $90 in the same month to smoke.

As far as people saying things, that is an opportunity for me to educate -- PG has a proven safety record dating back to the 40s, and people are already exposed to it more than they think. Nic in and of itself is no worse for me than my diet Mt. Dew habit, and people drink and eat artificial flavorings by the truckload -- and my lungs feel better with that mix of three components than the 4000 in cigs.

If you do decide to sell, you can always go with the classifieds here at ECF. Whatever you do, please keep checking back and stay abreast of the news. Those of us that need e-cigs would sure hate to lose them!

Thanks for taking the time to respond! And thank you for the education about PG and such. I used it just a few times today, with 0 mg and I do enjoy it.... I did list it on the classified section, but probably should be more specific.

I have every intention on staying up to date on this forum. I really do enjoy the education and information.

Thanks again for the response :)

My name is Raven, and I've been happily vaping away since August of 2009 ending a 42 year - 1 1/2 pack a day habit. I tried these things out of curiosity, and before I even realized what had happened, I quit smoking completely by accident the day I started vaping. I LOVED smoking - but I love this MORE.

My PV's of choice are 510's, but I started with (and eventually rejected) 801's. I also enjoy M702's on occasion, KR8's just to mix it up sometimes, and I fall asleep every night with 901's. That's right - I sleep with them. Nothing like waking up in the morning only to have to play a game of "where'd that darned thing go?!" I have a Silver Bullet, but don't use it much. It has a bit too much "heft" for me.

With the 510's I use all mega batteries, 901 whistle tips, and the BFD (blue foam dart) cart mod. It's simple and easy to fill. I keep 10 or 11 of these things loaded with different flavors all day. I like variety LOL. Oh yeah - about flavors: I've gone completely crackers for mixing my own. It would be a little embarassing if you folks were to see my "lab". I have a blue gazillion flavors from Lorann, Bickford, Capella's, Faerie's Finest, Flavourart - even Tasty Puff! It's a hobby. I haven't saved ANY money from giving up analogs. * sigh *

What else? Oh - personal stuff: Although I list "Blakesburg" as my location, it doesn't actually exist any more. It was once a town (on my property) that got wiped out when a dam (also on my property) burst at the end of the 1800's. The locals say that Pres. Lincoln stayed at one of the hotels here and left without paying his bill. Dunno if it's true or not, but it's fun to contemplate. So Blakesburg was wiped out and never rebuilt. Considering the way the creek turns into something resembling the Niagra River occasionally, that was probably for the best. Guess that makes me the official Mayor of Blakesburg (population: two). Anyhow, I'm out in the middle of a forest about 45 minutes due west of Indy. No town, just acres of trees. Just the way I like it.

I was a professional wildlife artist for 15 years until MS (multiple sclerosis) forced me to quit touring the country exhibiting at wildlife art shows. If you're curious, or just really, really bored, check out The Wildlife Art of Raven Priest. Since that had to come to an end, I've been working as a CAD Designer. I was happily married to the love of my life for 24 years until two months ago when he passed away after a long battle with colon cancer and associated surgical complications.

Anyhow - that's me. :)
