Hi all
So my Volt arrived late today and it is my first experience with an ecig. Initial thought after first drag was "I love it" and I thought it was my answer to analogs.
Here's the problem...in the past 5-6 hours I took possibly 20-30 drags - not much..much less than if I was smoking and I only had one cig in this time period. Again, normally would smoke much more. Right away I felt like the inside of my bottom lip was getting sore ..like blisters and have this strange mild tingling feeling in the lower lip. I don't get it, I've smoked over 40 years and never had a lip problem. I've been drinking tons of water to try to get rid of this feeling.

Does anyone have any ideas? This can't be normal and I really want to make this work. The Volt seems to work great (other than this lip problem). I bought the prefilled cartos and these are RY4 -18 mg. I tried calling SI but it was too late in the day.

Many thanks

sounds like your getting the juice on your lips..those prefilled cartos can be slurpy sometimes

+1...... still happens to me every now and then during heavier vaping sessions. For me, it's because of repeatedly getting small amounts of juice on my lips; sometimes not even enough to taste it happening.

Sorry for all these questions but it's so frustrating. I do want to be able to use this. Can I buy prefilled cartos from another company - will it fit on the volt? I don't want to start trying to use the liquid until I see if this is going to work for me. I already invested $75 and I don't want to start trying to figure out what liquid I like etc.
Thanks again

The entire inside of my mouth hurt when I first started. I just vaped through it because I wanted vaping to work. After the first week, it disappeared. If I vape more than normal, my lips will go numb but not sore. You lip may be super sensitive to the juice and heat off the carto because you're drawing a little longer than when you did on a cig.

If it is only on the lower lip and no where else then I would agree with the others that think you have gotten a small amount of juice on your lip. Not sure if a different vendor would make much difference, prefilled carts are notoriously juicy. Wipe the end down with some alcohol and try using it while holding it perpendicular to the ground. Gravity is your friend.
