I have not tried these yet, they haven't been on the market very long, but I've heard good things about them. Don't be put off by the DCT in the name, you can use single coil cartos in them. Smok tech glass dual coil cartomizer tank
I just got one of these and love it so far. But, I've only been using it for 24 hours.

ETA: The only thing I'm worried about is whether or not the top and bottom cap are chromed. My cheapo polycarbonate DC tanks have chromed top and bottom caps, and the chrome is coming off. Yuck!

I would recommend a Protank or Evod. Cartotanks can be quite finicky if you aren't familiar with them. Would hate to point you towards something you aren't prepared for.
Ironically, I could easily say exactly just the opposite of that in my experience. I've found in general common clearomizers to in fact be very finicky when compared against cartotanks. This just demonstrates perfectly that we all prefer one delivery device over another based on our own personal experiences.

Granted, my experience with clearomizers has been limited to the top coil variety. The Kanger ProTank and Evods are bottom coil and I've yet to use those, so perhaps my reservation for clearomizers should be qualified. The Vision standard clearomizer and Kanger T3's were on the harsh vapor side of things for me, yet I'm fully aware there are vapors who prefer those over another device.

My preference for almost a year have been pyrex cartotanks. One only needs to view my photo gallery here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/members/baditude-albums-pictures-my-setup.html to see that. Cartotanks do have a slight learning curve, yet I believe they are worth a trial. Follow a good accepted method of setting them up and you should have no issues.

Cartotank Setup Tutorial: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3710-5-cartomizer-tank-setup.html

Clearomizers and clearo tanks use string wicks which must be kept saturated with juice or they will give dry hits. This means they are position dependent and must be frequently tipped or tilted or the juice swirled, which I find annoying. The string wicks often mute some flavors (my experience).

The polyfill of a cartomizer completely surrounds and bathes the heating coil, which ensures more juice and more flavor to the heating coil. A cartomizer or cartotank is not position dependent. Aside from the one clearomizer that uses pyrex (ProTank), the others still use polycarbonate plastic which can crack or melt when used with many common flavors of juice. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...6-something-safe-cinnamon-citrus-flavors.html

The choices in common juice delivery devices are many http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...k-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html. What one person prefers over another is completely subjective. I recommend vapors try as many types as they can before settling on a particular one as there are improvements being made every few months.

I'm gonna hold off until tomorrow to make my decision

Clearomizers vs carto tanks?

About a month ago, I either tossed or gave away a bunch of used and new clearos. I kept 2 protanks, which are used at a minimum, now.

For myself, for the best flavor and vapor production, I use RDAs and RBAs when at home and cartotanks when I am out and about.

Clearomizers are much simpler to use than the others mentioned. However, after a short time, I set out to find a better vaping experience for myself. Better . . . For me, was all about flavor.

Oh, not all cartomozers are made the same. The only carto, which I use now, is the ikenvape carto.

I trust that your decision serves you well . . . Enjoy.

ETA: Now, I have 7 OCD tanks from IBTanked and a few others.

Better known as either Bella or Elegance tanks. Below is my Elegance tank (Hoosier Vapes) with a Phiniac pyrex tube that was custom color sandblasted.

Baditude has some really dope set-ups haha

After reading all the new comments I think I am going to buy that 19mm IBTank kit that I posted about. Thank you everyone for helping me make my final decision. I'm a quick learner when I'm interested in something, so I don't think I will have much trouble with learning how to use a carto tank properly
