Still limping along here, and happy to have reached another target milestone for me. :)

Can't decide... gtx780 or gtx670... blehhhhhhhhhhhh

Or maybe I'll save for a month or two and get a Titan... lol

I would go with the gtx 780 over the titan. the 780 is basicly a titan chip with less ram.

PPD difference save the extra cash towards a second 780.

Its been breaking 100's here so i have not been doing a lot of GPU folding but when it gets cooler i'll kick em back on over here.

That's what I was going to say LOL The 'real' LLB? Thanks for the team boost man!

On another note I got about 25~30k more points today / yesterday (Friday the 2nd) than I can account for. I do have 2 unmonitored off site computers folding but they are both wimpy (old c2d type systems at best with no gpu) and not capable of that kind of points. Wonder if I have a generous helper even though the Stanford site has the right number of active clients... I think...
At least as I understand it - Each folding slot that turns in work units counts as an active client right? So if you have one computer with a smp and a gpu slot that show as 2 clients right? Which almost doesn't make sense now that I think on it. I have 6 systems running here and 5 of them have gpu and smp slots which makes 11 (which is what Stanford says) but I also have a smp slot running on moms computer and my in-laws computer (at least last time I checked anyhow) so tha would mean it should be 13 active clients... If its one active client per pc instead then it should show 8 clients and makes 3 that I cant account for...

I dunno... I definitely won't run them in sli ever (my games don't need it, the 670 handles everything I play @ max with no slowdown) and I don't want to spend a huge amount for a folding only card. It would be counter-productive since I just sold my folding rig. I'll figure it out...

Thanks Bov. Guess I need to check those other 2 computers then and make sure they are still doing their thing...

On another note I need a better cpu cooler for the i7. I got the hyper evo 212 on there and am able to run the chip at 4.5g @1.38v with temps in the low to mid 80s. But I WANT MORE
The i5 is still on the stock cooler and running 4g @ 1.35v with high 90s temps :(. So I want to move the evo cooler to the i5 and get something better on the i7.
I don't really know how to figure out real world cooling performance based on anything they tell you about the coolers so if any of you other gurus have any advice or whatnot I am all ears :)

How long after sending proof of work units before the change in one's profile info ??? as in the addition FAH team lines under avatar and info ???

Our Forum manager who updates that info has been sick and offline for a while now. Unfortunately we've not been able to contact him or get an update on his situation. We're doing our best to figure out how best to proceed. It will happen, I just don't know when. Sorry for not having a more concrete answer for you at this time.

Now that I know the situation it can wait.... I'd much rather be hearing that he is better, up and around, and concerning himself with more enjoyable activities (like vaping :)
