How can I make the program use all my CPU when I go to bed to make it run faster?
Mine automatically uses it all. I have a gauge on my desktop that shows cpu usage and it shoots to 100% when I start folding.
Well disabling SLI has allowed 2 wu's to go throughout the night but not 3. I'm wondering if my 2nd video card might be busted.
I added my GPU slot back to run when I'm not using my PC for anything, but I can't pause just that slot. I highlight it and click "pause," but it pauses the client...which pauses my smp slot too

I have a shade over 20 hrs left to go on my first WU. I has taken almost the entire 7 day allotment to get it done. I hope it finishes before the deadline. I would hate to timeout just minutes before it is due.
I just joined and installed the client. After the shooting yesterday, how could I not contribute to help bring a brighter future to my fellow man?

Figured out the answer to my question
My smp one isn't still showing status unknown @ 0%....however my gpu is about to finish it's 2nd. guess it's nice having a HD 6950 OC
Anyone using hardware at work to process units should be careful. Many companies do not allow such things for various reasons. Some don't like it as they feel it is a security risk but the primary reason I've seen is due to power consumption. If a company allowed lots of PCs to do this it would cost a fortune in power bills.
This is certainly a great cause but I don't want to hear about folks getting into trouble with their employer.

Finally managed to get time to install it on the HTPC which runs 24/7/365. Now I need to get it up & running on my main rig. I wonder if it'll run on Windows Home server since that's running 24/7 as well.
My first WU just finished. How long does it generally take for the servers to update to show it was successful?
Nice to see more folks joining the party, especially since I am going to have to scale back my PC's..
My second WU is going to take almost 10 days of 24 hour running to finish. Glad to lend a hand where I can, especially for something like this.

and the building has only 8 units!
